The war zone of him and her

His eyes were shallow and full of red.

Her hands were shivering blue.

Their souls combined made violet.

A violent battle to make each night of every day more unbearable than the next.

She was living his dream, and he was stuck in a nightmare.

They were too intertwined in eachothers threats and lies.

It was either death or one another.

Neither wanted to make a sacrifice, even if it was what they had done for all this time.

No time or mortality would free them of their shackles.

They can't let go.

She'll never let go.

He will never let her go.

I feel like the meaning of this poem should be obvious but it is about a toxic relationship and the constant cycle that they can't break because they can't see living a life without eachother even if they are killing eachother.
