*Suicide, graphic descriptio of death*

I climb the roof with you.

Looking out at the view.

It's never prettier than you.

But that day... something changed.

The sky was pink and blue.

The sun was kissing the horizon.

The city was yet to wake.

It was too much.

I cried.

Even if I was just looking into your eyes the whole time.

I could see the reflection of the oncoming rain dripping down your face.

I truned around to see the moon.

A black sky.

When I looked back to find you gone, I knew I was far too gone.

So I closed my eyes.

I let my body fall.

Three stories to the ground.

Maybe four?

Maybe five?

Maybe nine?

Maybe endless?

Maybe forever.

Where will this end?

Let me land.

Let my skull shatter as it hits the pavement.

Let my soul rest as the paramedics hurry to cover the rest.

Don't catch me.

But don't let me fall so far...

Please don't ever leave me.

I might not want to live.

Not like this.

I don't want this.

Please tell me this is not real.

Tell me this is only a fantasy.

Catch me.

Before you let go of me.

The inspiration is pretty random for this poem. I was watching Interview with the vampire series where*spoiler* Louis's brother dies and also a song that I was just listening to but I dont remember the name of it or the artist. Not even sure what this poem means? Maybe you can tell me your interpretation in the comments.
