Tejasvin

Everyone began to leave one by one after finishing up with their food and giving Ketaki blessings for our child.

"Take care of yourself. A strong woman gives birth to a strong child," the same old lady that I had met few times before said to Ketaki placing her hand over her head.

"I will," she said adjoining her hands with a smile.

We began to wrap everything up and took all the remaining dishes inside the kitchen. It was already night by the time we finished cleaning everything up. Ketaki looked tired so I told her to rest while I took care of the rest. I went to the room after some time and found her sitting against the headboard in bed with her eyes closed without even changing. Sitting next to her on the bed, I kissed her forehead and then her belly that made her open her eyes.

"Tired?" I asked and she nodded. "Let me help you get changed then." I got up from the bed and extended my hand towards her. Placing her hand over mine, she slid down the bed. Standing in front of her, I unhooked her waist chain.

"Your child is consuming so much of my energy. I never get tired this easily," she said putting her arms around my neck.

"Just like me. I make you tired easily too," I said with a smirk, and she hit my chest playfully. I began unwrapping her saree when she gripped my collars and pulled me closer smashing her lips on mine without any warning.

"Let me have my feast now," she said detaching her lips for a moment before kissing me again.

"Now you are not tired hm?" I said breaking the kiss and cupping her face. She shook her head and removed my hands off her face.

"Never for you," she said pulling me into a kiss again until she became breathless.

"You and your mood swings these days Ketaki," I said and she began unbuttoning my kurta. She took it off me in one go and slammed her lips on me again. My hand travelled to the back of her head fisting her hair while my lips moved on hers.

Moving away, she took my hand and pulled me towards the bed and made me sit at the edge. She sat on my lap with both her legs on one side and began kissing my neck. She held the chain around my neck and kept pulling on it to bring me even closer to her.

"Ketaki are you sure you are not too tired for this?" I asked moving my thumb over her cheek as she continued leaving kisses on my neck.

"I'm not," she said and pushed me down on the bed and laid on top of me with her saree half off. She began leaving kisses over my bare chest and I pulled on her arm to bring her up.

"Since when did my wife became this needy hm?" I said turning her underneath me and freeing her of all the clothes.

"Since my husband started to take extra care of me," she said moving her hands on my body. I smirked looking down at her biting her lip.

"I thought women crave weird things during their pregnancy, but you've are craving your husband," I said leaning in closer to her ear and bit on it that made her hiss.

"I can't help when my husband is this tempting," she said pinning her nails into my biceps.

Ketaki

I was in my third trimester of pregnancy and close to delivery. Maa would often come over to take care of me and bring food with her. She would feed me with her own hands to ensure that I eat on time because she doesn't trust me when it comes to taking care of myself. My child had started to kick now, and it would cause me immense pain but also gave me joy at the same time.

Tejasvin would often go to the panchayat and had made so many changes since. The village was progressing well with the new rules he made. I had suggested to open a school in the village itself so that people don't have to travel afar to get education for their kids. Keeping in mind my request, he did just that and villagers couldn't have been happier. We went for its inauguration too and cut the ribbon together as they all applauded. We now had a clinic in the village as well and the same doctor that Tejasvin once came with to Tulsi's house runs it with other staff members.
