Later that day, Loona and Balin arrived at the B-Damned-Mall with the rest of the I.M.P crew at their sides, as they were about to meet two hellhounds who Tex described to be Balin's secret admirers.
As usual, Balin was excited to set foot into the mall and have fun with his demon friends, old and maybe new.
Loona reached into her wallet and gave the gang some money to spend during their catch-up. "Okay, here's some cash for you guys, but only because I'm paying you after that errand to do what you want." she told them flatly but firmly.
"Thanks Loonie." Blitzø replied cheerily. "Terrible start, Blitzø." retorted Moxxie.
"Remember guys, best behaviour!" Loona called out to them as they ran off.
"C'mon Moxx!" Millie squealed as I've gotta show you my favourite obstacle course my parents took me to!" "Awww." "Made out of guns!" Moxxie's aww face soon turned into a blank look of shock hearing that.
As the imps ran off, Loona noticed Balin taking deep breaths in and out and putting on the soft-drink flavoured lip gloss she bought for him.
"You okay?" she asked him. "I don't know Loona. Meeting new hellhounds?" he softly replied. "I know I just met Bee and those other big ones at the party, but, I'm just nervous."
"What's there to be nervous about?" she gave him a gentle smile. "I heard those two hellhounds were at the party last night."
"Really?" "Mm-hmm, and they're really interested in meeting you. As one of Tex's friends, I can take his word for it." Balin then sighed, knowing she was right.
"Hey." Loona softly put her furry hand on his shoulder. "I promise to protect you, sweetie."
"You do?" he replied intriguingly. "Yep. Remember what I said about hellhound words?" Balin chuckled as he answered to her; "To trust you, they're never broken."
"Good boy." she gave him a couple of pats on the back before handing him her bushy tail to hold onto for safety. As the two set off across the mall, they passed the food court where Blitzø was ordering a hell-ton of burgers at a fast-food stand.
But before long, Balin and Loona made it to their destination.
"*Giggle* Probably should've taken you here last time, but, here we are." she said. "Frost-Biters." she then pointed at an ice-cream parlour, making Balin gasp.
A/N: Dessert parlour's logo, designed by yours truly.
"They have a Baskin Robbins in Hell...?!" he thought to himself as he drooled. Loona saw this and laughed as she grabbed out some paper towels. "Goodness kiddo, you really are a little pup, aren't ya?" she teased.
The logo was a LED-lighted decoration at the top of the entrance, like almost every other shop in the mall, and there were so many little kids and teens dining at the place. Mainly hellhounds, because of one particular flavour. They were getting cups and cones of 'raw meat' flavoured ice-cream or gelato, heck, even yoghurt. This parlour had everything soft-serve related.
