Kayla POV
I woke up with my nose touching the ceiling, yes the effing ceiling. I let out a loud scream as my body went crashing back down to the bed. I bounced a little bit before completely stopping. My heart was pounding and my mind was racing. What the hell had just happened?
"Oh my god!" Arissa said laughing. "Your face was priceless!" She was sat cross-legged on my floor, arms clutching her stomach.
Oh, that's what happened.
"You bitch!" I yelled, launching myself off the bed and into her. Thankfully she wasn't paying attention to me, or else I'm sure she would have stopped me midflight.
I crashed into her belting out my best battle cry, while she screamed in shock. We were rolling all over the floor, each trying to pin the other down.
"Get off me!" I yelled into her face as she pinned my hands down over my head and sat on my stomach.
"Never!" She howled like a mad woman.
I squirmed around for a minute until all my moving had her sat up higher on my midsection, freeing my pelvis. I bucked my hips, kicked my legs up and wrapped them around her waist. The surprise caused her to gasp and release my hands, which I quickly put on the ground. I used all my strength and pushed my upper body hard and flipped us over, me now on top. I quickly pinned her arms to her sides.
"Victory!" I yelled
"How the hell did you do that?" She asked
"I'm a Cheerleader." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"That was hot," A deep voice said from the door. "Hell yeah it was," Another deep voice agreed.
I knew both voices, the first was Bryson and I knew that because it sent chills down my back, the second was Zane. When Zane spoke I felt Arissa stiffen under me effectively reminding me that "they belong to each other."
I released Arissa's arms and smacked her forehead. "Don't do that again," I said, referring to the ceiling incident. Arissa only laughed as I climbed off of her; that was until she and Zane made eye contact.
We all stood in silence. I was smiling like a fool looking between the two, Bryson was shaking his head in amusement, and they were off in lala land with each other.
"Breakfast will be ready in about ten minutes and we leave for school in twenty." Bryson said, clearing his throat. "Oh, here is a bag your parents brought by this morning." He said placing a white cloth bag by my door.
"Alright." I smiled at him.
He grabbed Zane's arm and pulled him out of my room.
"Soooooooo." I said dragging out the word way more than necessary. "That Zane sure is a good looking guy, wouldn't ya say?"
"Oh god." Arissa sighed, dropping her face into her hands. "I'm his mate, aren't I?"
"What do you think?" I asked while digging through my bag. Inside was clothes for today, my make-up and tooth brush.
Arissa stood up and straightened out her pajamas, she stuck her nose in the air and left my room without answering. I knew she knew she was his mate.
I pulled the clothes out of my bag; a sheer black fitted t-shirt with a batman symbol on it, a yellow tank to put under it, white shorts, and my black converse. I was so loving my parents at that moment. I quickly dressed myself and threw my hair into a messy bun, because no shower equals bad hair day. I washed my face and quickly applied make-up. Perfect-ish.
