Kayla POV
I woke up, screaming in pain. My whole body was crying, like every bone I had was on fire. I knew exactly what it was; Bryson. My vision had just happened in real life and I slept through the whole damn thing, not only that, but I got to feel the horrible pain twice. Awesome!
"Oh, Kay!" Arissa cried, "Please tell me what to do."
I couldn't speak, the pain was so intense. I could only wrap my arms around myself and cry. The pain was much worse than I had remembered, either it was dulled in the vision or the fight had gotten worse after I fainted. Either way, this shit sucked.
I heard Arissa crying, while trying to talk and then she placed her hand on my leg and the pain disappeared. I took a deep breath and tried to control my tears.
"Please tell me it's helping," she sobbed.
"Yeah," I croaked out.
I went to sit up but Arissa pushed me back down. "I can't take my hand off or all the pain will come back, I think."
"We have to get Bryson," I whispered exhausted, being in pain really takes a lot out of a girl.
"We can't," she sighed, "I don't know where they went, him and Zane just ran out."
"He's hurt."
"Oh my god, is that why you were screaming?" She asked, "You felt his pain?"
I just nodded, on the inside I was going crazy wanting to get up and find him, but my body was drained.
"Wow, I am not looking forward to that," She said to herself, then to me she added "Why don't you try to sleep, I'll wake you when he gets back,"
"No, I just need food and coffee," I whispered. "Try to move your hand."
Arissa nodded and slowly took her hand off my leg, she looked over at me with a frightened expression on her face.
I waited, terrified for the pain to come back. When nothing happened I smiled at Arissa and she left the room to get me food.
My body was getting very antsy, I knew Bryson was slowly getting closer to me. I told this to Arissa as she handed me my plate and I ate like a wild animal.
I had all my food gone and downed two cups of coffee when a group of boys walked in carrying my mate, in wolf form.
"Kay, call your father!" Alpha Grant shouted as they hurried into the living room.
Arissa tossed me her phone and I quickly dialed my father. I also took notice of all the naked boys in the room, including the Alpha. If that's what I have to look forward to when Bryson gets older, Bring. It. On.
As soon as I got off the phone I made sure to look down, I knew my face was beat red at my previous thought and I felt bad for staring.
"Where is he?" My father asked, walking into the mix.
Everyone moved out of the way and made a space for my father to get in. He ordered Zane to get a bucket of warm water and rags, then told Andrew to get all the boys some pants. Thank you daddy.
"Order him to turn," My father said to the Alpha.
"He will heal faster in this form," Alpha Grant replied, "and it will hurt like hell for him and your daughter if he shifts now."
"He will heal wrong if I don't set some of these bones," my father said, "they will have to deal with the pain, I'm sorry honey," he added with a cringe.
