Kayla POV

"Kayla! Oh my god, what did you see?" Arissa asked frantically.

I looked around the hall and saw people sending my curious looks. I forced a smile on my face towards the few people I knew.

"We have to leave!" I whisper yelled.

"How much time do we have?"

I closed my eyes and searched for anything from the vision that indicated what time it happened at. I ran over the event in my head at least three times before I got frustrated. I couldn't figure out when it was happening but my body was buzzing with anticipation, and definitely not the good kind. We had to go now.

"I don't know, but we have to go, like right now," I said quickly.

Arissa nodded and grabbed my arm attempting to pull me back the way we came, but I didn't let her, we had to get the boys.

"No! We have to go up, Zane and Bryson don't know," I practically cried.

"You're right. Lead the way." She replied without hesitation.

I grabbed her hand in mine and continued up the stairs as quick as I could. Then the feeling hit me, it's already too late. Well that's not a good feeling to have. I pushed myself harder up the stairs, practically dragging Arissa with me. We made it to the second floor right as the first explosion hit. There went the doors.

"What the hell?" Arrisa yelled.

"They are blowing the school up!" I yelled back.

Just a little bit farther down the hall and we would be at the boy's homeroom. We didn't make it though, more explosions sounded and the building began to shake, I could hear people from the lower levels screaming. People started rushing out of every door, causing chaos to fill the hall. Before I could blink, the men I saw in my vision were on the same floor as us. Dang, they didn't waste any time.

"Do something!" I yelled over the noise to Arissa.

"Magic?" She yelled back to me?

"Duh!"

Arissa pulled me against the wall and closed her eyes. She murmured something to herself and then flicked her fingers. The whole hallway filled with wind, then she waved her hand towards a group of the men and the wind surrounded them. They looked around confused, and a few of them ran into each other.

"I don't know how long it will hold them!" She yelled over the wind. "What do they want?"

I was about to tell her that I had no frickin clue what they wanted, but a word popped into my head.

Mates.

"They want us," I said.

"Us? Why?"

"Not just us, they want mates, they want all the female mates," I cried out, "and before you ask, I don't know why."

The wind was starting to die down and the men were on the move again, the building was still blowing up and everyone was screaming and running. All I could do was lean against the wall and stare at everything around me. It wasn't in slow motion like you see in the movies, it was in fast forward and I couldn't make any sense of it.

"Get off of me!" I heard a girl cry out.

I whipped my head in the direction of the cry and my head told me, very sternly, 'save her.'

I pushed myself off the wall and ran towards the girl. I could hear Arissa calling my name, but I ignored it as I pushed my body harder. I knew I would need as much power as possible to take this man down. As soon as I was close enough to the pair I pushed off my feet and launched my body into the man's. It felt like running head first into a brick wall.
