Kayla POV

"Kay, they took Sadie."

I couldn't wrap my head around the words that came out of Andrew's mouth. They couldn't have taken Sadie, could they? I wanted to argue with him and tell him that there was no way that they took her. She wasn't a wolf and as far as I knew she wasn't mated to one, but they couldn't have known that.

I felt my body start to sway and my sight became blurry; a vision was coming and I was welcoming it, maybe it would tell me where my friend was. I was new at this whole vision thing but I figured if I willed myself to see what I wanted that it may work.

The pull was different though, it was almost like someone was tugging on my hair. It was uncomfortable and I didn't like it. My head was screaming at me to not let it happen, but the pull just got worse.

"No!" I yelled out, hoping someone would shake me awake and not let me go away. I didn't know what I was fighting against, but I was fighting hard.

Before I could yell out again my whole body went limp and I fell into darkness. I hate losing.

My eyes slowly started to adjust to the darkness and I saw myself; I was talking to Bryson. I was actually watching the first time we met, but this time I could see everything clearly. I could see the way Bryson was looking at me and I could sense his reaction to me. Weird.

I watched as my other self walked into the house, and a feeling of triumph washed over me. The words 'I found his mate' ran through my head, and the underlying meaning in those words scared me to death. It was then that I looked down at my feet and repositioned myself into a lower stance. Once I saw my feet I realized I wasn't in my own body, because I do not own a pair of men's black work boots, and my feet were not that big.

I felt like someone was still pulling on me, as if something was trying to yank me back into reality. It was more irritating than painful, but there was a slight stinging in my brain. I didn't have time to ponder on it though, because the body was in charge and went back to looking at Bryson. He watched me until I was safe inside the house and then, with a huge smile, he walked into his own.

A brief flash of blackness brought me into another scene; me getting out of my dad's car, then me hugging Sadie. The man's trail of thinking ran through my head again; 'the mate cares for this human.'

More images passed through my mind; meeting Bryson, almost kissing him, three days worth of light touching and flirting, and then the kiss. Wow, I thought it was hot being a part of that kiss, but watching it was just as good. I then saw me have my first vision, I had still not been able to remember it on my own so watching it was just as mesmerizing to me as it was to the mind I was in.

Oh, crap. Whoever this is knows all about me. How had I never noticed someone following me around? It must be someone we went to school with, someone that I had seen enough to not even bother with. Double crap!

The person was still watching as Bryson carried me out of the school, and watched every exchange until I ran into the woods. I'm not sure if the person followed me or not because the images stopped and I was in blackness again.

"Well that's enough, I think," A sickly sweet voice rang through my head.

My vision cleared and now I was on grass, that's it, nothing but green grass and blue sky.

"Over here," the voice spoke again.

I turned around to see a very pale girl, slightly shorter than me with white hair and startling red lips. She was wearing a very low cut black dress, making her skin look almost translucent. My overall impression of the girl; creepy as hell.
