Chapter 37

It was night when they finally reached heaven, arriving at a forest that looked very scary and dark. Y/N was the only one who seemed frightened.

"Ajushii," Y/N said.

"Hmm," Taehyung replied.

"I'm scared. This place is eerie," Y/N said with a trembling voice.

"What should I do? Just come quietly," Taehyung responded as they started walking into the forest.

"Ajushii, whenever I said I was afraid, you always took me in your arms, but now you're asking what should I do," Y/N said while walking.

"What the hell are you talking about? I’ve never done that," Taehyung replied.

Y/N pouted and moved closer to Namjoon. "Ajushii no.2, can you give me your arm?" Y/N asked very cutely.

Namjoon couldn’t deny her, so he offered his arm.

Y/N held his hand and walked with them. Their walk was totally silent, which Y/N didn’t like. She decided to break the silence.

"Your highness, it's very boring to walk like this," Y/N said.

Taehyung replied, "If you want, we can walk on our heads."

Y/N giggled and said, "Sing a song."

Taehyung said, "I don't know how to sing. Just come quietly."

"Then I'll sing," Y/N said and started singing loudly.

Her voice was really bad, and Namjoon and Taehyung couldn’t stand it. They covered their ears.

"Hey, stob it," Taehyung said, but Y/N didn't stop.

Soon they reached a cave. Namjoon said, "Tonight we are going to stay here." Y/N pouted but nodded.

Taehyung said, "Wait here, I'll be back," and moved away from them.

Y/N asked Namjoon, "Ajushii no.2, why are we here?"

Namjoon replied, "I can't say everything to you."

"Oh, you can't say everything to the future queen of this hell?" Y/N said playfully.

Namjoon forced a smile and said, "Nothing like that. I'll tell you."

Y/N smiled. Namjoon continued, "We are here to stop the divine power."

Y/N became confused and asked, "What is divine power?"

Namjoon explained, "Divine power is the force that helps the people of heaven protect themselves from the people of hell."

Y/N asked, "Why do you want to stop it?"

Namjoon said, "The Lord doesn't like heaven's king, so he's doing this. Also, if the divine power is active, it makes it hard for us to enter heaven."

Y/N nodded in understanding just as Taehyung returned.

"Ajus- I mean, your highness, I'm hungry. I need some food," Y/N said.

Taehyung glanced around and pointed to a tree nearby. "There's a tree over there with fruits. Go and eat."

Y/N walked over to the tree and looked up. The tree was too tall for her to reach the fruits. "Your highness, I can't reach the fruits. Can you help me?"

Taehyung sighed but walked over. He effortlessly reached up and picked a red fruit from the tree. He handed it to Y/N. "Here, now stop bothering me."

Y/N took the fruit with a grateful smile. "Thank you, your highness." She took a bite, savoring the taste.

As Y/N bit into the fruit, the red juice stained her lips. Taehyung couldn't help but stare, his eyes locked on her mouth.

He gulped, feeling an unfamiliar sensation as he watched her.

Y/N noticed his gaze and asked innocently, "Is something wrong, your highness?"

Taehyung quickly averted his eyes, his expression hardening. "Nothing. Just eat your fruit," he replied gruffly, trying to mask his reaction.

They walked back towards the cave, and Y/N sat down.

Taehyung said, "Y/N, you're the main part of my plan." Y/N looked at him, puzzled.

Taehyung continued, "Tomorrow, Namjoon will drop you near Jungkook's palace. You will go inside as a beverage seller. Somehow, you need to get into his room. In his room, there is a magic stick. You have to find a way to take it and bring it back."

Y/N pouted and asked, "If I do this, what will you give me?"

Taehyung replied, "I'll give you anything you want."

Y/N smiled and asked, "If I do this, will you remember our past?"

Taehyung thought deeply for a moment before saying, "No, I can't. I really don't know who you are. Can you ask for something else?"

Y/N said, "Then will you allow me to go under the sea to get the book of 'Prohibited Past'?" She asked eagerly.

Taehyung stood up and moved out. A few minutes later, he returned and said, "Okay, I'll allow it. You're just a maid, you're not important to me, so I can risk your life. I'll allow it."

Y/N's eyes filled with tears, but she smiled and nodded.

All slept there, and the next morning, Taehyung brought a tray filled with beverages.

Y/N smiled and reached for a croquette from the tray, but Taehyung tapped her hand, signaling her not to eat it.

"Now you're a beverage seller. Act accordingly, understand?" Taehyung said with a serious expression.

Y/N nodded, taking hold of the tray. Taehyung instructed Namjoon, "Take her near the castle." Namjoon nodded, and they started walking from there.

As they approached the castle, Y/N felt a mix of nerves and determination.

Namjoon gave her a reassuring look, then turned back into his human form."Remember, just follow the plan. Get inside, find Jungkook's room, and retrieve the magic stick. Be careful,"

Namjoon reminded her.Y/N nodded, trying to keep her composure. She adjusted her attire to look like a beverage seller and took a deep breath.

With the tray of drinks balanced in her hands, she walked toward the castle gates.

As she entered the castle, the guards glanced at her but didn't seem suspicious.

She moved through the halls, trying to look as natural as possible. Her heart raced as she navigated the corridors, searching for Jungkook's room.
