Chapter 39

Now it's night in heaven. Y/N and Jungkook were standing in the palace garden.

"Where can I sleep?" Y/N asked.

Jungkook smiled and said, "Where do you want to sleep?"

Y/N looked into his eyes, finding it hard to tear her gaze away from their shiny, beautiful depths. But she caught herself and said, "I want to sleep with Taehyung," pouting.

Jungkook's expression hardened. "No, I won't allow that. Come on, I'll give you a room."

He grabbed Y/N's hand. She tried to pull away, but his grip was firm. They walked to a nearby room.

Jungkook opened the door, revealing a beautifully decorated space. Y/N's eyes widened in appreciation as she stepped inside.

"This room is amazing," Y/N said, unable to hide her delight.

Jungkook watched her reaction, a small smile playing on his lips. "I'm glad you like it. You'll be safe here."

Y/N nodded, still taking in the room's details. "Thank you."

Jungkook's gaze softened. "Rest well, Y/N. If you need anything, just call for me."

Y/N nodded again, watching as Jungkook left the room. Once he was gone, she let out a sigh and sat on the bed, feeling the weight of her situation.

She missed Taehyung but couldn't deny the comfort of this new room. It was a small solace in an unfamiliar place.

The next morning, Jisoo was ecstatic. She went to meet Amara and said, "Y/N is not here."

Amara smirked and called out, "Come on, Lily." A girl emerged, and Amara introduced her, "This is Lily, a worker in heaven's palace. We're going to make Y/N the food of the creatures in heaven with Lily's help."

Jisoo smirked and nodded in agreement. With that, Lily made her way to heaven.

Y/N woke up early and started her work, trying to forget about Taehyung but struggling.

She was in the garden when a hand suddenly touched her shoulder. Startled, she turned to see a cute girl.

"Hey, I'm Lily," she smiled.

Y/N smiled back. "You scared me," she said. "And I'm Y/N."

Lily nodded. "Can we be friends?" She offered her hand. Y/N smiled and shook hands with her.

Lily hugged Y/N and then said, "Hey Y/N, I know you're here to learn about the Fire Goddess. I can help you with that."

Y/N asked, "How?"

Lily said, "In heaven, there's a forest named Lumina. If we go there, there's a crystal ball that can show us the past."

Y/N's mouth opened in surprise. "Really?" she asked.

Lily nodded. "Yes, really."

Y/N said eagerly, "Okay, then I'm ready. Let's go there tomorrow."

Lily smirked to herself, satisfied that her plan was in motion.

With that, Y/N moved on to the kitchen and started washing dishes.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed her and pinned her against the wall. She looked up and saw it was Jungkook.

Y/N tried to push him away while lowering her head, but Jungkook tilted her face up to make her look at him. "Wh...what are y...you do...doing?" Y/N stammered.

"Tonight, I'm going to the market. I want you to come with me," Jungkook said firmly.

"No, I can't come with you. I'm sorry," Y/N replied.

"I didn't ask for your permission. You have to come," Jungkook insisted.

Y/N couldn't say anything else and just nodded, his commanding tone reminding her of Taehyung.

Jungkook smiled and moved away, leaving her to her thoughts.

In hell, Taehyung sat on his throne, drinking wine, and called for Namjoon. "Look at me, I don't know why Y/N's face keeps appearing in my mind. I think I need to see her," he confessed.

Namjoon smiled and said, "I know. Tonight she's going to the heaven's market; we can go there too."

Taehyung asked, "But how do you know?"

Namjoon replied with a smirk, "I'm Namjoon. I know these things."

Taehyung shrugged his shoulders. "Okay, tonight we'll go there."

Namjoon nodded, and they went to the dining room. Taehyung began eating his meal when Jisoo entered. "Can I feed you, Lord?" she asked sweetly.

Taehyung made an expression of disgust. "Am I a baby? I don't need that. Just leave me to eat."

Jisoo pouted but continued trying to get close to Taehyung. Annoyed, Taehyung threw his food aside and stormed out.

Jisoo muttered to herself, "Why do you hate me, Taehyung?"

The night arrived, and Jungkook and Y/N sat on a horse. Jungkook's arm snaked around Y/N's waist, causing her eyes to widen, but she couldn't stop him. Jungkook rode the horse very fast.

"Please slow down," Y/N said, but Jungkook only rode faster.

Soon, they reached the market. Taehyung and Namjoon also arrived, searching for Y/N.

The market was beautifully decorated with bright lights, more impressive than the hell's market.

Y/N saw a candy shop and her mouth watered, but she was embarrassed to ask Jungkook. Jungkook noticed and led her towards the candy store. "Give her anything she wants," he told the seller.

The seller gave Y/N everything she asked for. Y/N looked at Jungkook and said, "Thank you for the candy."

Jungkook glared and said, "I didn't get you this for free. You have to pay me back."

Y/N's smile faded. "But I don't have any money."

Jungkook smirked. "I don't need money but something different."

Confused, Y/N asked, "What's that?"

Jungkook smirked and didn't reply. "Excuse me, tall man, reply to me."

"Shut up, little girl," Jungkook said, the words reminding Y/N of Taehyung.

Jungkook then moved towards a hair clip shop, still holding her hand. He bought a beautiful clip and paid the shop owner, then turned to Y/N and placed it in her hair.

Y/N blushed and shyly turned towards him, hugging him. "Thank you."

Jungkook smiled and hugged her back. At that moment, Taehyung saw them, his eyes burning with jealousy, though he didn't know why.

Namjoon said, "Come, Lord, let's meet her."

Taehyung's eyes turned red. "No, she's happy with him. Let's go back."

"But-" Namjoon started, but Taehyung grabbed his hand and led him away.
