Chapter 21

"Ajushii no.4, please don't open the door. I'll read it completely before you open it again," Y/N said firmly.

"But Y/N," the librarian replied, his voice tinged with fear.

"Don't open it. It's dangerous for this book if it's outside. It'll be safer in this room," Y/N insisted.

The librarian hesitated but then nodded reluctantly.

"Alright, Y/N. Be careful."As the door closed behind her, Y/N took a deep breath and opened Prohibited Past.

The room seemed to hum with a strange energy, the whispers growing louder as if the book itself was alive with secrets.

Y/N began to read, her eyes scanning the ancient text.

In Namjoon's room, he was frantically searching for the key but couldn't find it because Y/N had it.

Panicking, Namjoon ran towards Taehyung and said, "Lord, the room's key is not with me. I think someone took it."

Taehyung's eyes widened with anger. "What the hell were you doing while someone took it?"

Namjoon had no words, his head hung low in shame.

He fell to his knees before Taehyung, pleading, "I'm sorry, my lord, for my negligence."

Taehyung's mind raced, and then it hit him. "I know who took the key," he said, his voice steady but filled with tension.

Namjoon looked up, confused. "Who, my lord?"

"That's Y/N. It's her time to know," Taehyung said with a hint of resignation.

Namjoon nodded, still on his knees. "Lord, she gives off Moon Goddess vibes."

Taehyung nodded in agreement, his thoughts now focused on Y/N and what she might discover in that hidden room.

Y/N continued to read the ancient texts, her eyes widening with disbelief.

The words seemed to echo in the silent room:

"I cursed my own son because my husband married me without love."

"A way to break the curse."

"The mortal has to cut her hand for her love. If she survives, she can marry my son."

"And to know what happened in the past, the mortal who loves the immortal Lord must go into the sea and get the book of 'Prohibited Past.'"

"But now, you're holding that book, but this is not the true book."

"The true book is under the sea. Find that book and reveal all the truth to everyone."

Y/N’s shoulders slumped as she realized the journey was far from over.

She pouted, her dreams of ending the curse seemingly dashed.

But a glimmer of hope still sparkled in her eyes.

She had found the way to break the curse, and now, she knew what she had to do.

Determined, Y/N closed the book, her resolve hardening.

She knew the true battle was just beginning.

She had to dive into the depths, face the mysteries of the sea, and find the true book of ‘Prohibited Past.’

With a deep breath, she prepared herself for the challenges ahead, ready to break the curse and set everything right.
