As the battle between the dragons began, the tension in the air was palpable.Namjoon, now a fierce fire-breathing dragon, faced off against the mighty Water Dragon.
The sky above them crackled with energy, the sound of their roars echoing across the ocean.
From the boat, Taehyung and Y/N cheered for Namjoon, their voices ringing out in support.
"Come on, Namjoon! You can do it!" Y/N shouted, her hands clenched into fists of excitement.
Taehyung, his eyes fixed on the battle, nodded in agreement. "Show them what you've got, Namjoon!" he encouraged, his protective arm still wrapped around Y/N.
On the other side of the boat, the elderly grandfather was just as animated, albeit in support of the Water Dragon.
"Don't let that fire-breather get the best of you!" he called out, his voice filled with pride for his ocean-dwelling ally. "Show them the power of the sea!"
The dragons clashed mid-air, their scales glinting in the sunlight. Namjoon unleashed a torrent of flames, while the Water Dragon retaliated with a blast of water that sizzled as it met the fire.
The sky was a mix of steam and sparks, creating a mesmerizing display of power and strength.
Y/N watched in awe, her fear now replaced with sheer amazement. "This is incredible!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.
Taehyung smiled at her reaction, enjoying seeing her so captivated. "It is, isn’t it? Namjoon’s giving it his all."
The battle continued, with Namjoon and the Water Dragon exchanging powerful blows.
Each time Namjoon landed a hit, Y/N and Taehyung cheered louder.
And whenever the Water Dragon managed a counterattack, the grandfather would shout words of encouragement to his champion.
As the fight wore on, it became clear that Namjoon was slowly gaining the upper hand.
With one final, powerful blast of fire, Namjoon forced the Water Dragon to retreat into the ocean, signaling the end of the battle.
"You did it!" Y/N cheered, jumping up and down in excitement on the boat. Taehyung grinned, sharing in her joy.
Namjoon, now back in his human form, returned to the boat, looking both exhausted and triumphant.
"That was a good fight," he said, his voice still echoing with the remnants of his dragon roar.
The grandfather, though disappointed, couldn’t help but smile. "Your dragon is strong, my lord. It was an honor to witness such a battle."
Y/N, still buzzing with energy, hugged Namjoon tightly. "You were amazing, Namjoon! That was so cool!"
Namjoon chuckled, patting her head. "Thanks, Y/N. But it was all for you and Taehyung."
As the boat gently rocked on the ocean waves, Y/N and Taehyung exchanged a glance, both of them filled with a deep sense of happiness and contentment.
This trip had been more than just an adventure—it was a memory they would cherish forever.
As they sailed back toward the shore, Y/N looked up at Taehyung with curiosity in her eyes.
"Are we going back to our palace now?" she asked, expecting to return to the familiar comfort of their home.
Taehyung shook his head, a mysterious smile playing on his lips.
"No, sweetheart. We’re not going to our palace. We're going to my own palace," he replied, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and pride.
Y/N's curiosity grew, and as they approached Taehyung's palace, her eyes widened in awe.
The palace was dark yet beautiful, with an otherworldly glow that seemed to emanate from its walls.
It was unlike any place she had ever seen before—both haunting and mesmerizing at the same time.
As they entered the grand hall, Y/N couldn't help but marvel at the intricate designs and the eerie, yet captivating atmosphere.
The palace felt alive, as though it held centuries of secrets within its walls.
Taehyung gently cupped Y/N’s cheek, drawing her attention back to him.
"I have a little work to take care of, Y/N. You stay here with Namjoon, and I'll be back soon," he said, his tone both reassuring and firm.
Y/N pouted, not wanting him to leave her in this unfamiliar place. "Do you really have to go right now, Taetae?" she asked, her voice tinged with disappointment.
Taehyung chuckled softly and kissed her forehead. "It won’t take long, I promise. Namjoon will keep you company," he assured her.
Reluctantly, Y/N nodded, though the pout still lingered on her lips. She then turned to Namjoon, who was standing nearby.
"Namjoon, where's the library? I want to explore it," she asked, her curiosity now shifting toward the palace’s library.
Namjoon nodded and gestured for her to follow him. "This way, Y/N," he said as he led her down a dimly lit corridor.
They soon reached the library, and Y/N’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she took in the sight of countless shelves filled with ancient books and scrolls.
The library was vast, with high ceilings and an almost magical atmosphere that made her feel like she had stepped into another world.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Y/N exclaimed, her voice echoing slightly in the grand space.
Namjoon smiled at her enthusiasm. "I knew you’d like it. If you need anything, I'll be nearby," he said, ready to give her some space.
But Y/N turned to him with a smile. "Thank you, Namjoon. But I think I'll be okay here on my own. You can go," she said gently, wanting to explore the library in peace.
Namjoon hesitated for a moment, concerned about leaving her alone in the vast and mysterious palace.
But seeing the determination in her eyes, he nodded. "Alright, but if you need anything, just call for me," he said before leaving her to explore the library at her own pace.
As the door closed behind Namjoon, Y/N was left alone in the quiet library. She took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and a touch of nervousness.
The palace was dark and mysterious, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that it held something special, something she was meant to discover.
