Chapter 12

While heading to the market, Taehyung rode the horse very fast.

Y/N clung tightly to him and stammered, "A..ju..sh..ii.. s.s.l.ow..d..ow..n," but he only urged the horse to go even faster.

After a few minutes, Taehyung slowed down the horse.

Y/N asked him, "Ajushii, what's the meaning of Hell Fire?"

Taehyung replied, "Hell Fire is really dangerous; we have to use it carefully."

Y/N nodded. Taehyung stopped the horse in a forest and gently lifted Y/N off the horse, setting her down.

Y/N asked, "Is this the market?"

Taehyung shook his head. "No, I'm going to show you Hell Fire."

Y/N's eyes widened, and she followed Taehyung eagerly.

Taehyung told Y/N to focus on a leaf. As she did, he moved his finger, and the leaf started to burn.

Y/N gasped, "This is awesome!"

"I know, but it's really dangerous," Taehyung cautioned.

"Ajushii, why do you have powers?" Y/N asked, confused.

Taehyung explained, "Not only me, all the people in this kingdom have powers."

"Do I have powers?" Y/N asked.

Taehyung shook his head. "You're not a citizen of this kingdom, but if you marry a man from this kingdom, maybe you can gain his powers."

Y/N smiled widely. "Then I'll marry a man who has flower powers."

Taehyung's smile faded. "You'll marry another man?"

Y/N nodded. "Yes, so what?"

Taehyung reminded her, "You said you'll marry me."

Y/N giggled. "Your powers are boring, and you said you wouldn't marry me, so I'll marry another man."

Taehyung thought to himself, "I won't let that happen."

With that, he lifted her onto the horse and started riding back.

Soon they reached the market, the largest in the kingdom.

The atmosphere saddened Y/N: at a medical store, many people were begging to save their children, trees were burned with no fruits, and there was no greenery.

Namjoon arrived shortly after, and
Y/N smiled and greeted him.

While Namjoon and Taehyung started a conversation, Y/N spotted a candy store and ran towards it.

She asked the shop owner for several lollipops and started eating them.

The shop owner asked for "10 coins," but Y/N didn't hear him and walked back towards the horse.

The shopkeeper grabbed her collar, demanding, "Give me my money."

"Oh, you're asking for money, but I don't have any. Come to my house, and my grandma will give you," Y/N replied while licking a lollipop.

The shop owner, furious, shouted, "Give me my money back!" Tears flowed from Y/N's eyes, and she cried loudly.

Taehyung heard her and ran towards the shop.

The shop owner bowed and explained, "Lord, this girl isn't paying for the candy."

"Leave her," Taehyung ordered, and the shop owner immediately let go in fear. "Namjoon, pay him," Taehyung instructed, and Namjoon complied.
