"Y/N... Y/N, wake up," a low, deep, honeyed voice murmured in her ear, but Y/N continued to sleep.
"Y/N," the voice said, a bit louder this time, waking her up.
"Ajushii, please, 10 more minutes," Y/N said in a sleepy tone.
"Y/N, today I'm going to become the king," he said.
Y/N quickly woke up from bed and said, "Please wait, Ajushii, give me 5 minutes. I'll get ready and come."
"Okay, Y/N, wear your maid dress," Taehyung said.
Y/N bowed and got ready, but when she was done, Taehyung was gone.
She pouted, worried, and left the room. Seeing many people going into a big hall, she decided to follow.
As she expected, it was the hall where Taehyung would become the king.
She saw Mr. Lee standing and moved near him, bowing before joining the other maids.
All the noblemen sat in their respective seats.
Y/N spotted the royal family sitting on their thrones: Taehyung, Jimin, and their father. She waved to Taehyung, who saw but didn't wave back.

She pouted, but Jimin waved back, making her smile brightly.
Soon, the current king stepped forward and announced, "Everyone, today is my last day in this position. I believe my son will be better than me."
"Namjoon, start the procedure."
Namjoon bowed and shouted, "Everyone, today we will have a new king for this kingdom.
Our new lord will make this kingdom happier. The upcoming days will be joyful because of our new king." With that, the king and Taehyung stepped forward.
When everyone saw Taehyung coming, their blood boiled in fear.
The king removed his crown and placed it on Taehyung's head.
Namjoon shouted, "It is time for pledge"
"Me, Kim Taehyung, from today onwards, I am the king of this kingdom.
I have gained more power, but I will not use my hellfire for bad things.
Everyone, I will be better than my father, and I will make you all feel happier to live in this kingdom.
I pledge to this kingdom," Taehyung declared, bowing in front of everyone.
Y/N smiled, but everyone else was scared.
He had been terrifying as a prince, and now that he was king, they feared how much more evil he might become
Namjoon shouted, "You can request him your most needed thing."
Everyone nodded and they all chose a man to speak on their behalf.
The man said, "We want you to marry a girl. If you marry, this kingdom won't suffer from diseases."
Tears flowed from his eyes and Taehyung could see the pain on his face.
"Okay, I'll do it, but I need more than six months," Taehyung replied.
Everyone nodded. Namjoon then announced, "Everyone, now girls are allowed in this palace, so tonight there's a party. You can bring your wife, mother, or daughter here."
Everyone smiled and nodded, then left the hall.
Y/N was walking towards Taehyung's room when a man suddenly grabbed her and pinned her against the wall.
It was Jimin.
"Jimin, what are you doing?" Y/N asked, wide-eyed.
Jimin touched her face, and Y/N's eyes widened. "Nothing, I just wanted to talk with you."
Y/N pouted, "Jimin, can I ask you one thing?"
Jimin nodded. "Why doesn't King Taehyung want to marry?" she asked.
Jimin let her go and sighed, "Why are you spoiling my mood by talking about him?"
"Please, my dear Jimin," Y/N pleaded.
Jimin's cheeks turned red. "Okay, I'll say. First of all, he hates girls, and he's looking for the perfect girl. Even if he finds one, he won't marry her."
Y/N was confused, "Why?"
"Because if a king marries a girl, he shouldn't touch her. If they have a child, they shouldn't do it again. It's a royal rule," Jimin explained.
Y/N pouted, "So that's why he's not marrying?"
"Yes, but he promised the people, so he should marry a girl," Jimin replied.
He saw his father approaching, so he left Y/N alone.
Y/N pouted when she saw Taehyung's father and bowed. The Kim asked, "Dear, can I know where you're sleeping all night?"
"I'm sleeping in Lord Taehyung's room," Y/N replied.
Mr. Kim's eyes widened. "Okay, come with me," he said.
Y/N bowed and followed him to Taehyung's room, where they found Taehyung standing.
Kim told Y/N to go inside the room, and she did. He then asked Taehyung, "What's happening here? Why is she sleeping in your room?"
"I just need her to stay with me. Please don't ask me anything," Taehyung replied and went inside his room
When he entered, he saw Y/N lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
Taehyung walked over and hovered above her. Y/N's eyes widened, "Wh...at a...re y...ou do...i...ng?"
Taehyung placed a finger on her lips, signaling her to be quiet.
He said, "Tonight, there's a party. Wear a pretty dress and ignore everyone who asks you to dance, even if it's Jimin. Understand? You only have to dance with me."
Y/N nodded. As he tried to move away, Y/N grabbed his neck and gave him a peck on the lips.
Taehyung chuckled, stepping back, "You don't know how to kiss"
Y/N become confused and asked "This is how soul mates kiss I know"
Taehyung chuckled and said "One day I'll teach but not now , Be ready for the party."
Y/N nodded
