I grasped his hand as we were eating snacks. Ohm just held back as we finished our food. Once we were done, I helped to clean up along with Thanat, who offered.

Thanat looked at me.

"What is it, Thanat? Why do you keep looking at me? I know I am quite dashing."

Thanat laughed! "My brother must be rubbing off on you. It's the kind of shit he would say."

I laughed. "But is everything ok, though? You been looking at me for a bit now. Anything you want to talk about?"

"Can I ask you something, P?  I hope you do not feel I am overstepping my boundary. If I am, tell me, and I will drop it."

"Go on. What is it?"

"Do you like.. do you like my brother?"

I looked at him perplexed. "I do like your brother. He's a nice guy and we have a lot of similarities."

"I meant, do you like him as more than just my brother or your colleague or friend Ohm? Do you like him as a person?"

I fell silent. I knew what Thanat was implying. A blush streaked across my face, despite my hardest not to. I just looked at the dishes in my hand and didn't say a word.

I could feel Thanat's keen gaze on me. I looked at Thanat.

"I... er..he's a nice guy. I think he's a wonderful person. I think.." I just faltered horribly. I couldn't bring myself to tell Thanat what was in my heart.

I groaned inwardly and just turned away. But I turned only to see Ohm standing there, looking incredibly shy himself. Thanat just chuckled as he walked towards Ohm, placing the cutlery in his hand.

"You can finish off the dishes with him. Told you. That he likes you. My job here is done."

I just gaped at Thanat, who chuckled more as he walked away, calling out to his mother for his medication. I looked at Ohm, who was blushing, but just came up to me.

"I will help you with the dishes, P. Sorry about Thanat. He's just.. you can ignore him.."

"Ignore him?"

"Yea.. whatever he said. Ignore it. Sorry if he put you in an awkward situation."

I just fell silent. I looked over at Ohm.

"Ah, okays. He didn't put me in an awkward situation, though. I was surprised but not put off by it."

Ohm, he nearly stopped breathing hearing that. He just continued gripping the cutlery in his hand tightly. I looked at his hand, gripping the cutlery.

"Ohm.." Just then, we were interrupted by his mother.

"Ohm, sweetie, Nanon is here."

"Oh?" Ohm stuttered. "OK I be out soon."

Ohm turned to look at me but didn't say a word. I just smiled reassuringly at him and told him to go on and talk to him first. He nodded and took off. I finished off the dishes and went out to the living room. Thanat told me grumpily that Ohm and Nanon were talking in his room. I just laughed at Thanat's pettiness and told him to just let it be.

Nanon came out a little while later and was stunned to see me. I just greeted him politely, and he nodded, bidding goodbye to all of us before he left. Thanat just jumped on Ohm, interrogating on why Nanon was here and kept bombarding him with questions before Ohm could even answer the first one. I chuckled lowly as I told Thanat to chill and pulled him back a little.

Ohm filled us in that Nanon came to apologise for his behavior and also that given that Ohm was going back to work tomorrow, he said he will come pick him up. Thanat looked at Ohm and then he asked, "Did you say no?"

Ohm rolled his eyes but nodded, saying he did reject Nanon. I looked at him surprised.

"Why did you reject?" I asked softly. Ohm looked at me for a long while before muttering, "I thought maybe you and I can go to work together."

Thanat just smiled and approved while Ohm's mom just chuckled. I blushed completely hearing Ohm's reply but agreed because I wouldn't have wanted it anyway else.

Ohm did not say anything and just came to sit next to me and Thanat just teased us on how we appear to have swapped souls and personality.
