Lawrence's POV

I'm Lawrence Columbus. No one crosses me and gets away with it. Not even Caddel himself. Father might be scared of him but I'm not. I've worked so hard to make sure Forever Bright was a success and now everything is crumbling, it's all because of her!

No way... she's gonna pay.

I can imagine seeing Caddel's face when he gets the news.

I smiled.

Payback never felt this good.

"What the fuck did you do?", Alfred barked as I walked into my living room. "Watch your tone, Alfred. You're in my house and I demand respect", I said trying not to spoil my victory celebration. "Have you lost it? Why would you try to kill Ajax? How desperate can you be man? Is Maya, not enough for you?", he asked and he looked pissed. Never seen him so worked up before. It surprised me.

"Alfred, what I do is none of your business so get out of my house", I said making him furrow his brows. "You're so naive, man. Leave Aubrey alone before it's too late", he said then stormed out of my house.

Finally...

I can celebrate.

I poured myself some whiskey and went to my room. I opened my bedside drawer and took out Aubrey's photo.

She was smiling.

It was a beautiful smile.

It's a shame I won't be seeing it again.

My phone rang and I answered without looking at the caller ID. "What?", I asked. "Did you have something to do with the accident?", Father asked making me smirk. "I don't know what you're talking about", I said then hung up.

I opened my WhatsApp messages and found the confirmation I was waiting for.

A photo of a crushed dark grey Lincoln Nautilus.

Her favorite car.

She was so predictable.

Phantom: It's done.

Me: Good.

Me: Transferring the money now.

I transferred the remaining money to the account that was shared with me and drank some more whiskey.

I called my secretary ordering her to bring her cunt. I wanted to fuck someone and Maya was not an option.

I called my driver and told him to kick her out of my penthouse. It was still afternoon so she wouldn't have a problem getting a place to crash, not that I cared anyway.

I called the bank and told them to cancel the card that Maya had. I was done being Mr nice Guy. She wasn't worth it anymore, all she did was remind me of Aubrey. I couldn't have that. Not after what I just did. I needed to focus on my business and that was it.

I kept on drinking my balls off, ready to fuck my secretary to oblivion the moment she arrived. The thought of having her mouth swallow my cock was even more inviting.

At least some women knew how to appreciate my attention. They knew better than to pick a stupid firefighter over me. The thought of having Fire Boy have his way with Aubrey made me so mad. But on the bright side, none of us were going to have her.
