Chapter 64: Those are not my Caddels

I felt a warm breath on my neck followed by a light kiss then my legs were spread apart. I opened my eyes and met Ajax's green ones. Still unique and magnetic. We were both in your pjs or should I say... I was in my pjs and he was in his sweatpants. 

He just looked at me.

"I'm sorry for not telling you that Maya was at the Fire Department. After seeing her I just couldn't let her leave. She has learned her lesson and I think she will change for the better", he said then gave me a peck on the lips. "You don't think I was too hard on her? That I should have stopped her... That I'm a bad sister?", I asked. "No, Maya is strong-willed and we both know where she gets that from. If you ask me, life is the best teacher", he said with a smile making me chuckle. "Thank you for being there for her Jax. I love you", I said then pulled his lips to mine.

It was a slow kiss but a passionate kiss. It made me feel connected to him. I deepened the kiss making him press his hard member on my PJ shorts. I felt myself getting wet. I needed him. He pulled back and removed my PJ shorts and panties in one swift move then pulled his sweat pants down and returned to his previous position. His alarm started going off right when his hard cock was about to sink into me making me furrow my brows and reach for my phone to check what time it was.

6:30 am.

"Dejavu! I have to go. I love you", he said with a smile then pulled away from me and rushed to the bathroom. It made me remember the day I woke up in his arms. I released a breath and decided to wake up too. I went to the bathroom and cleaned my nipples with a warm towel while watching his toned form take a shower. I sat on the bed and reached for the breast pump then started my morning routine.

"That's a lot of milk gorgeous", Ajax teased while collecting his stuff. "Tell your son that. He devours this in two hours. I wonder where he got that from", I teased back making him chuckle. He kissed my forehead then went to the nursery to do the same with the twins and left.

To my surprise, I found Elias and Crystal waiting for me. It was morning hours and she was wearing a sling pouch on her left arm.

What was going on?

"Good morning. I thought our meeting was in the afternoon", I said making them stand. Crystal looked so sad. I knew why but I did not know why they thought I could help with anything. "Yes but, I really needed to talk to you. I... we need your help. Please", Elias begged. Which was weird because he was always the most confident person in the room. He was like Lawrence but with a human side.

I called Nico and told him to clear my schedule until I was done with Elias and Crystal. "You have a very beautiful office my dear", Crystal said making me smile. "Thank you, can we get you anything to drink?", I asked making her smile. "Some water please and coffee for him. Black with honey", she said and I called Nico and told him what to bring.

"How are your twins?", she asked. "They're fine, thank you... how about Hellen and Penelope?", "They're ok", she said while wiping a tear away. "Guys what's going on?", I asked but before they could say anything Nico walked in with the drinks.

"Aubrey, I'm so sorry for everything. I should have stopped him from doing all the things that he did to you. As a father, I should have led him down the right path. You were nothing but good to him but all I did was stand by and watch as he cheated and lied and mistreated you. I didn't say anything. I didn't do anything and I'm so sorry for that. I know I don't have the right to but please, please help Lawrence. He needs you", he said while bowing his head. "What? How?", I asked.

"It was Liam. He's behind Lawrence's bankruptcy and my demise", he said shocking me to the maximum. "The Caddels are not who you think they are. They kidnapped Lawrence and tortured him for weeks. They made him give up everything he owned because of what he did to you", he explained and it was even more confusing to me. "Why would they do that?", I asked making Crystal give a weak smile. "Aubrey, you are their daughter. They're just parents protecting their family which is not wrong but not right either", she said then wiped a tear away. I reached for a box of tissues and put it in front of her.

"Look, the Caddels I know wouldn't hurt a fly. Yes Liam can be intimidating but he's not capable of hurting people... come on", I said with a chuckle because I knew it had to be a mistake. "You're wrong when Lawrence refused to sign his assets away. They kidnapped me and tortured me right in front of him until he agreed. Aubrey, they broke my arm. I have been hospitalized for god knows how long. Why would I lie to you?", she said then started crying.

"Crystal, it's not that I don't believe you. I just can't see them the way you do. I mean, do you have proof?", I still stood by what I believed. "No, but. Don't be deceived by the way people look, Aubrey. If you don't believe us ask them. Ask them who owns Estell Investment Corporation when they answer that then you'll know we are telling the truth", Elias said and I nodded. "Once you get the proof, please help us get Lawrence's bail open. I know you hate him but please, no one deserves this kind of punishment... please Aubrey", instead of her words making me feel sorry for her. They made me remember Maya's state when I walked into Ajax's office.

"No. I won't do that Crystal. And you're gonna have to forgive me for that. He deserves this. He deserves this for ruining my sister's life. Kicking her out and turning her into a junkie and now I have to take care of her. She's in rehab you know. Very painful thing to see, I assure you. Don't get me started on him almost killing the father of my children. He has been benched for a year. Not able to do the one thing that he loves. Saving people's lives because of Lawrence.

Crystal... your bastard of a son is not getting bail. Please excuse me, I have a meeting to get to. You can show yourselves out", I said then stood up and left.

I found Nico at the reception and told him to get rid of them and went to Justin's office. "What time do you actually work Philip!", I said when I found him in Justin's office. "You look pissed. Who killed your cat?", he asked with amusement making me roll my eyes while sitting on Justin's stress-relieving sofa.

Yes... it was a thing.
