Chapter 54: Several Weeks Later, New Characters, Beginning of the End

Time had flown by after the talk with the League, a little more than 3 weeks in fact. During this time, quite a lot had happened.

For one, Gwen had assimilated the new knowledge and powers over night, and had gotten a good bit out of it.

Power Mans 107 absorbed people had proven to be an absolute godsend. The 107 people all had counted as souls, considering he had all their knowledge and experiences in his mind. Therefore...she got 107 peoples worth of aura, massively increasing her aura by several times.

The new senses had been quite useful, as had the new semblances and fitzegeralds ability. His power had been quite the addition, and was something she had already begun to take advantage of.

Doing so was quite easy, after she created a money printer that would use recycled/used paper to create money. Not only that, but it was pretty much untrackable and seemilngy completely and utterly legit. The printer had already mass produced a lot of money for her, which she had stored away for the future.

She had continued to train her different abilities, and had continued to train M'gann, Artemis, and Raven. The training had picked up quite a bit, after she had introduced the super soldier serum to the team.

It had gotten...mixed reactions, due to it's potentially painful assimilation, but after some thinking, Artemis and Dick had taken it. It didn't change much in terms of appearance, besides making them grow a couple of inches, and making them a bit more toned and attractive.

But it was what didn't show that made a difference. They were now able to lift roughly 4-5 tons, had increased speed, durability, regeneration, etc. More so than even Captain America himself. Not only that, but she had made sure to imbue a bit of magic into the serum, protecting their blood from being used in cloning or trying to replicated the serum. She had wanted to make it even better, but it would require a lot more time, and it would put them out of commission for quite some time.

She had thought about giving it to Wally, but decided against it, as she wasn't sure what affect it would have on him, with his super speed and unique body. Kaldur, M'gann, and Superboy didn't need it, nor would it work for them.

She had thought about giving it to the League, but had decided to wait until after the Light was taken care of, and then introduce it to them. Just to be safe, of course.

She had decided to wait on aura for now, until after the Light. She didn't want to deal with them digging into the prospect of the power, and looking into souls. Thankfully, she estimated that the Light would be wiped out within a couple of days or so.

The new super soldier serum had done wonders for Artemis's martial arts training, and had improved her already rapid rate of improvement, even more. As it also improved their mental intelligence, making them even smarter than they already were.

Thanks to this, Artemis was officially the best martial artist in the team, besides Gwen. Not only that, but she was probably in the top 3 of the entire League, not including Gwen of course. The other girls had continued to grow their martial arts, but not nearly as fast as Artemis was.

During this time, Gwen had begun to thoroughly train and experiment with her Green Lantern ring. She found that her ring, while not even remotely as powerful as it's comic counterpart, was still incredibly powerful in her hands. Thanks to basically having infinite willpower to pull on, she could create just about any construct she wanted, that the ring itself could handle.
