[3rd POV]

Landing in the grounds of the forest, Korra looked around, surveying her surroundings. She remembered Gwen had told her about the grimm, the types, and how dangerous they were, even to her. From what Gwen said, the forest was home to most of the weaker grimm, but there was a good chance that they'd run into some much stronger ones.

Hearing a low growl, Korra looked to the side, preparing herself as a Beowulf stepped out from the nearby bushes, as three more followed after it.

'These are the wolf ones Gwen told us about. They're supposed to be the weakest ones, but are agile' Korra thought, as she stomped on the ground, earth answering her call as it floated in front of her, and was promptly launched into the grimm, crushing it instantly.

Seeing the other three bolting towards her, Korra slashed at them with water, as it cut through two of them in an instant, leaving on the final one alive. This final beowulf grew close to Korra, before a burst of fire slammed into it, burning it into ashes.

Looking at the corpses as they dissipated, Korra smiled 'Gwen was right, these ones are pretty weak' Korra thought, only to stop as she heard more growls.

'...I've gotta learn to shut my mouth'

With M'gann and Raven, they were walking together through the forest, having just finished off a dozen beowulf's.

"Those things are as fast as Gwen said" M'gann said, with Raven nodding along.

"Seems this universe will be good for our development" Raven replied, knowing that besides this being Gwen's "Vacation" this was also the universe that could be good for their growth. While Gwen was naturally going to breeze through this universe.

"Um, Raven, it looks like we've got more company" M'gann spoke, as she noticed a larger grimm approaching them. The grimm was an ursa, a bear like grimm that was much larger than the likes of a beowulf, but also much slower, and hits much harder. It was basically a tank, while the beowulf was a smaller but faster grimm.

Looking at the large creature, the two's eyes widened as two more stumbled into the opening where they were standing. As they realized that this might take longer than they thought, and there might be more grimm than they thought too.

Looking at each other, they both nodded, and got ready to fight.

Walking in an opening, Artemis let out a sigh. She had been looking for the others for a while now, and had run into a couple of beowulf, but that was it. The fact that she hadn't run into any, was a bit strange, but she decided to not complain.

She hoped to run into Korra soon, as she saw Raven and M'gann landing together, so her best hope was to find Korra, who'd then by her partner. From that, they'd need to find M'gann and Raven so they'd get partnered, as she'd rather not be put into a team with people she didn't know.

Continuing to walk deeper into the forest, Artemis stopped as she heard rustling to her right. Without hesitation, she pulled out the proto-tool, as it formed into a blade. Readying herself, she prepared to strike, only to stop as a huffing Korra walked through the bush.

"Damn it Korra, don't scare me like that! I thought you were a grimm!" Artemis huffed out, as she put away the weapon. She was about to attack the girl, had she not stopped herself.

"Sorry, sorry! I was busy dealing with a crap load of grimm! Those things just kept coming" Korra said with a sigh, catching her breath after constant fighting with a load of grimm. They weren't hard to defeat or anything, but the sheer amount of them was what was causing the exhaustion.
