[3rd POV] [A few days later, Mount Justice]

Some time had passed since Gwen's date with Artemis, and things were going well. The two had grown closer and closer over time, with M'gann supporting it the entire time. They had went out on another date during this time as well, this time they went to Rome.

During this time, Gwen had continued her development of the Super Soldier Serum II, aka the improved version. This version would increase the users physical and mental capabilities, without the drawback of also improving their negative sides (aka their emotions). She was pretty much done with the creation of it, and just needed to get the materials needed to give it out to the team, and then the League.

Her progress in finding out if aura was safe had gone well. She had already tested it on a few less than nice criminals, and as far as she could tell, it was completely safe. It was simply the alien members that she needed to be wary of, as she wasn't sure what effect it would have on them.

Besides developing Aura and the Super Soldier Serum II, she had continued to train M'gann in her abilities. With the Martian's rate of improvement increasing more and more, as she had been able to lift heavier and heavier objects, and use her telepathy at greater and greater lengths.

She had also continued to develop her force powers more and more. Continuing her daily meditation and practice in the power, continuing to develop her connection to the power more and more.

Currently, Gwen was in the mission room with the rest of the team after getting called there by Batman.

"Rumaan Harjavti is the democratic-elected president of Qurac. Harjavti has been praised as a fair, wise leader, a humanitarian" Batman started, showing a clip of Rumaan and Bruce shaking hands.

"Suuuure. Any friend of Bruce Wayne's" Wally said sarcastically.

"But five days ago Harjavti allied himself with the dictator of the neighboring nation of Bialya, Queen Bee" Batman continued.

"Huh! Not a fan" Superboy said with a huff of distrust.

"Few are. But Harjavti suddenly backs Queen Bee's faceless claim that Qurac and Bialya were one nation in Ancient Times and has announced that the countries will reunify in two days at a ceremony in Qurac" Batman said, before playing a clip of Harjavti revealing that he will step down as president, and Queen Bee will take his place.

"Looks like he's under control. Queen Bee's too far away, so that leaves...Psimon, right? He'd be the perfect person to have control the man" Gwen commented, knowing fully well that the man was indeed controlling him.

"That is the most probable case" Batman responded with a nod.

"The Qurac people are well aware of the brutality of the Queen Bee's regime. But due to Harjavti being under control, he has silenced all legitimate protests, the press, and even invited the Bialyan military into his country to enforce martial law" He continued.

"Robin is team leader" Bruce finished, looking to Dick.

"Wha-me? What about Aqualad? Or Gwen?"

"Aqualad is busy with Aquaman. And I doubt Gwen would want to be the leader of the group. Thus, you are the next logical choice"

Dick went silent at these words, while Wally huffed that Dick ignored his high five.

"A bit of magic should be more than enough to take care of the control that Harjavti has been put under" Raven commented, causing Gwen to nod along.
