Chapter 160: Talk with the Girls

[3rd POV]

Reappearing in her room in the Xavier school, Gwen almost immediately noticed her girlfriends who were all standing there, looking at her with narrowed eyes.

"Gwen, where the hell did you go? We were worried sick!" Artemis asked, as Gwen looked at her with a sigh. She knew that Artemis would be displeased, and for good reason, as she had sort of just disappeared with no warning, and whenever that happened when she was involved, it usually meant something big was going down.

"You can't just disappear without telling us Gwen, we-we worry for you" M'gann said, looking at Gwen, tears bordering on forming in her eyes as Gwen gave her a soft look.

"We know you're busy and are always doing something, but-but that doesn't mean you have to do it all alone, Gwen, you can get out help...my help" Korra said, as she stuttered a bit, which was rare for her to do, as she was usually the headstrong one of the group.

"I doubt it was something you had a say in, but...it's hard not to worry, love" Raven softly muttered, as Gwen looked over the three of them, before beginning to reply.

"I-...I apologize. I was dragged off to another multiverse by something called the "Web of Life and Destiny" a multiverse spanding force that has also been connected to this multiverse's sister verse. It wasn't something I had much of an option in, and had I had one, I would have told you beforehand, I promise. I'd never leave you girls without me" Gwen replied softly, as Raven furrowed her eyebrows.

"Web of Life and Destiny? Does it have anything to do with your Spider Powers?"

"It does. I am what's called a "Spider Totem" . It's...hard to explain that aspect, but just know that it is what gives me the Spider Power, and it's a rather important aspect of this multiverse" Gwen replied with a nod, moving to sit on the couch, the girls all sitting around her, listening intently.

"But why? Why were you summoned?" Korra asked, as M'gann couldn't help but softly smile. 

"To save the day, right? Someone needed your help, and you were summoned so you could help them" M'gann said, as Gwen chuckled and nodded.

"That's right. I was summoned to stop a very powerful entity from breaching into that Multiverse, from which it could then use certain forces there to break out from his prison in this multiverse. Had I not gone there, then that universe, this universe, and most universes, would have been doomed by the being" Gwne replied with a nod, as their eyes widened.

"What-what sort of being are they?" Artemis asked, as Gwen leaned back.

"His name is Knull, the God of all Symbiotes. He's...powerful, far more powerful than I am, and probably the most powerful person I have met. The only person I know of that could contend against him, is Raven and Jean" Gwen replied, as Raven looked at her in confusion.

"Me and Jean?"

"Babe, you are one of the most powerful entities in both this universe, and the one you were born in. Your power is immense, both in magic, and in psychic areas. While Jean...Jean is the host of one of the most powerful entities in the entire multiverse, and not only that, but she's it's perfect, best host" Gwen replied, as Korra asked the question that appeared in their minds.

"What force?"

"It's known as the Phoenix Force. It's the manifestation and embodiment of all life, of the past, present, and future. It is also the embodiment of all psychic energy of the past, present, and future. It is probably in the top 10 strongest entities in this multiverse, and is capable of atomizing Knull with ease, when at full power" Gwen replied.
