Chapter 75: Assimilation and Zaofu

[3rd POV]

'...I'm not even sure how to react to this one' Gwen thought, as she looked at the characters.

Percy Jackson would give her a MUCH stronger connection to the oceans, water, liquids, sea creatures, horses, and all things related to Poseidon. Which when combined with water bending, could become very very powerful.

Orochimaru would give her knowledge in Senjutsu, kekkei genkai, the biology of the Naruto world, seals, and some other pieces of knowledge of genuine use to her.

Yasaka would give her even more chakra, some knowledge in Youjutsu, and some other minor pieces of information and power. But she was probably the least useful of the bunch.

Satoru Gojo was probably the second best in the group, almost entirely because of his Six Eyes, which, when combined with her different energies, could become VERY powerful. As it would basically give her perfect control of Cursed energy, and potentially all the other energies she had, this control was down to the very atomic level. Not to mention limitless, which would basically make her untouchable to most people. Although it probably wouldn't do much against strong enough beings.

Darkness Devil was probably the best because...of it's potential. It was the embodiment of the fear of Darkness. Such a power combined with the ability to travel the multliverse, was...incredible. As Gwen believed that it would grow with every world she travels to. And the stronger the fear of darkness in that world, the stronger her connection to the darkness, and her power would grow. The only real weakness to this power, was light, and even that wouldn't do much to Gwen, due to all her other powers. She'd also have to be careful in certain universes, due to there being similar beings already there, that might not like something like her being there. Marvel and DC being the most dangerous of the groups.

'Alright system, go ahead and assimilate' Gwen thought, and after thinking that, she felt...different.

Power began to flood her being, as her eyes began to burn with a slight pain. Memories began to pour into her brain as her "Evil Energy" grew stronger, alongside her other energies, her "Ultimate Energy" most of all.

Soon, her eyes began to warp and change, glowing softly as she began to feel...different. She could see more than ever before, she could see more energies, and now her manipulation and control was growing to an entirely new level. As not only could she feel her control over Cursed energy grow, but also it's new form "Evil Energy" as well as Magic, "Ultimate Energy" and even Aura.

Now, she wouldn't waste even a drop of energy when casting spells, doing techniques, using jutsu, or anything else.

Soon, a different feeling began to assault her being. A...strange one.

Darkness began to softly flood the surroundings, leaving the girls alone, as darkness covered the entire room. Gwen's eyes glowed with a dark, eerie light as a dark smoke trickled off of her, as she began to feel the connection to darkness grow, and grow, and grow. She began to feel her power with the Yellow Lantern ring grow rapidly, growing to entirely new levels as the feel felt towards darkness, towards her, fueled her.

She could feel the primordial fear that others had towards darkness, had towards...her. She could feel it all and she...loved it.

As the assimilation finished, Gwen let out a pleased sigh, her body filled with more power than ever, thanks to the combination of Gojo, Darkness Devil, and Percy. She wasn't sure how much stronger she had just become, but it was...a lot. And it seemed the boosts from the fear of darkness wasn't just to her physical side, but her power overall.

'Wow that is...a strange feeling. A welcome one, but strange either way' Gwen thought, as she felt the sheer amount of fear that was felt towards her/the darkness. It was immense, to say the least.
