[3rd POV]

Standing at the side of Hank, Logan, Ororo, and a few others, Gwen watched as an SUV stopped in front of the eschool. Xavier was sitting in front of them, watching silently as the car parked, and a tall African American man got out, one eye covered in an eyepatch, and a serious look on his face.

"Nick, it's nice to see you after so long! How long has it been now? 3 years?" Xavier asked with a smile, stretching his hand out as the bald man glanced at it before shaking it with his own smile, an obviously fake one.

"3 years, 2 months, 11 days" Fury replied, Natasha and Maria standing a bit behind him, skillfully assessing the group behind Xavier, while not showing it. To others it wouldn't be noticed, but Gwen noticed the way the two were gazing at them and just smiled in amusement.

"Ah, not surprising you would keep track. Why won't we go to my office so we can speak of why you are here?" Xavier offered with a calm smile on his face. Fury nodded with what the man had said, and followed after him as he rolled off to where his office was located.

"I see some new faces around. You been busy recruiting?" Fury asked, as Xavier chuckled.

"We both know that you already know the answer to that question, my friend, so no reason to ask such a thing. But yes, we've been recruiting many new students to our school, as is our duty to our fellow mutant brethren" Xavier responded with a small nod.

Walking into the office, Xavier turned to the group "You all may leave, besides Gwen, Hank, and Ororo" Xavier said, as he decided to have everyone but his most trusted members to leave. Logan would have been told to stay, but thanks to his temperament, he decided against it, and he was pretty sure the man didn't want to be there very much either way.

"She one of your new students?" Fury asked, glancing at the yawning Gwen as she ignored his look. She wasn't afraid of the man at all, even with someone like Captain Marvel on their side. The woman was incredibly powerful, and could destroy worlds, but Gwen had a lot of abilities that perfectly countered her own, making it an easy fight for her.

"Close but no, she is a new professor" Xavier responded with a shake of his head, as he moved to behind his desk, while Gwen sat on a couch, leaning back as she listened to the conversation as it began.

She knew that the conversation was going to be about all of her clones that were saving people around the world, but she was interested in hearing some more important pieces of information that she was lacking. Especially the ones that didn't happen in the comics or other media.

"A new professor? How old is she to get a job like that?" Fury asked, interested in Gwen, as he hadn't ever seen her in the reports he had from the current students at the school.

"She's 19 at the moment. But she is certainly the most unique of our professors, and the best at her job. I trust her to do it" Xavier responded simply, not minding the look he had gotten from Fury upon hearing her age.

"A 19 year old teaching at a school like this one?" Fury asked with furrowed eyebrows, as she glanced at Gwen, confused. He hadn't heard of her from any of the reports, meaning she was an unknown factor.

"She may be 19, but she is the most suited for her position out of anyone I have ever met. Now, what is it you are here for, Nick?" Xavier asked, as he looked at the man who was giving Gwen a look. Hill and Natasha were also looking at her, frowning as the girl leaned back on the couch with a yawn.

"The shadow vigilante, the one that has been causing trouble around the world, we think it's a member of your school" Nick said, as he gave Gwen a suspicious glance.

"You mean the hero who has been saving millions, dismantling human trafficking rings, drug operations, and wiping out entire criminal organizations? All without killing a single soul?" Xavier responded with a raised eyebrow, he knew of the individual who had been doing it, as some of the students had started to look up to them. He didn't mind the vigilante, as they had been doing a lot of good for the world.
