Defeat the Evil

Details - Defeat the perpetrator of the invasion...defeat...Darkseid.

Rewards - System Evolution, 25 NL Tickets, and ?????????.

'Fuck' Gwen cursed inwardly as she read through the quest. She knew something would happen with Darkseid eventually, but she didn't think it would happen so quickly, and so soon.

'Can I even beat him? I'm immortal, yeah. But if he's anything like his comic counterpart in terms of powers, then I've got no idea how this'll go' Gwen thought, breathing in deeply.

'Not to mention the fact that the Anti-Life equation is most likely on Earth somewhere, and considering how Darkseid is, he won't stop until he gets his hands on it' Gwen thought with a sigh, knowing that this was going to be a long, and very annoying fight. The man couldn't kill her, but he sure as hell could slaughter others, AND seal her with the right materials, rituals, and situation.

'...I've got to tell the girls' Gwen thought, knowing that they would want to come and help, even if she explained how dangerous Darkseid and his Parademons are, not to mention his close followers like Granny goodness, Steppenwolf, Kalibak, and all of them. All of which she would have to fight and defeat.

She was somewhat confident in beating the likes of Granny Goodness, Steppenwolf, Kalibak, and Darkseids other elites. But Darkseid himself? That was an entirely different level, and would be much much harder to take care of. She wasn't even sure if she could kill the guy, considering he was immortal.

'Alright, let's get this over with' Gwen thought, knowing that she needed to get to that world soon.

"What do you mean Earth is being invaded!?" Artemis yelled, jumping to her feet after hearing the news that Earth was being invaded by aliens.

"I mean, that Earth is being invaded by tens of thousands of aliens. Leading them is an incredibly powerful being that is stronger than anyone in the League, including even Superman" Gwen responded, causing the three to breathe in deeply.

"Then we need to get there, now" Raven said, causing Gwen to sigh and nod.

"Alright, let me make a note for Korra at least, considering I am most likely about to miss her fight with Amon" Gwen responded, which they nodded at, as they began to get ready.

Walking into her room, Gwen brought out a pen and paper and began to write.

"Gonna be gone for a while, not sure how long. I've got some...important matters to deal with, involving my home. I'll be back as soon as I can. Use the teachings I've taught you well, Korra. Signed, Gwen" A simple note, but enough to not cause too many issues. It might annoy Korra, but that's all.

Seeing as the note was ready and she had already sent it off, teleportation carrying it to Korra's room, Gwen walked back out, finding the girls standing there, serious looks on their faces.

"You three ready?" Gwen asked, causing them to nod as they walked closer to her. Seeing this, Gwen breathed in 'System, bring us back to the world of Young Justice'

[Beginning multiverse travel]

As she read this, a flash of light filled the room, as the group disappeared.
