Chapter 181: The Imperial Guard

[3rd POV]

Looking over the group of invaders that had attempted to bomb the living hell out of her newly created city, Gwen gazed at them in amusement, the space around them quivering slightly from her power, as she prepared herself to absolutely obliterate the fools that tried to hurt her and her people.

The group of invaders looked at her in alarm, as they hadn't sensed her appear near them, and hadn't even been able to react to her presence.

Looking over the group, Gwen assessed each of them.

'Gladiator is by far the strongest of the group. The guy gets stronger the more confident he gets, while also getting weaker the less confident he is. And while that is powerful against most people...I am one of the worst people for him to fight. All it'd take is for me to flare my killing intent or conquerors haki and he'll fold like paper' Gwen thought, not worried about the man.

Sure he was physically incredibly powerful. But in comparison to Gwen, he was weaker in pretty much every single way imaginable. She doubted he'd be able to even scratch her, much less defeat her.

There was also Warstar, a large alien that was weaker than Gladiator, but...pretty badass looking to be honest. He was pretty much just a big bulky strong alien and that was...about it.

There was smasher who was pretty reliant on technology, there was several others in the group that were...all pretty much useless to be honest. The entire group relied almost entirely on their teamwork and Gladiator himself.

As she assessed the underwhelming group, Gwen noticed a notification appearing in front of her.

Raising an eyebrow at the quest, Gwen grinned slightly as the quest was...not very difficult, not at all.

"So, are we going to just stand here, or are you going to attack me?" Gwen asked, looking them all over, a bored look forming on her face, a fake, taunting one, but it got the reaction she wanted either way.

"Who are you?!" One of the members exclaimed, the group beginning to move to surround her, tensing, ready to attack at a moments notice if she tried any sudden movements. Gwen noticed, but she let it happen, not really nervous about them. The only one she really needed to focus on was Gladiator himself.

"The creator of the city you just tried to bomb. The city that is under my protection, a city that is for freedom and peace, and yet you just tried to ruin that" Gwen said with a scowl, not appreciating the attempt at attacking her and her people.

"What connection do you have to the Phoenix host?" One of them asked, as they could tell that the Phoenix Host was on the planet below, sensing the power radiating from it thanks to several pieces of technology that had been made in order to sense it. Something that had been necessary considering their constant hunting of the hosts.

Glancing at the man who had said this, she snorted "Not sure where you got the idea that you can force me to answer that, you walking ballsac" Gwen said, noticing the mans rather...interestingly shaped chin.

The man growled in anger, preparing to launch towards her to attack her, only to stop when Gladiator fiercely glared at him.

"Silence fool!" Gladiator said. He could sense the danger radiating from Gwen and knew that attacking her right now would be foolish, not until they got the information they wanted at least.

"At least one of you has some respect. That "Phoenix Host" that you are hunting down is under my protection, so I suggest you run back to your Empire and leave her be" Gwen said simply, looking them over, as Gladiator gazed at her silently upon hearing this, as her senses flared, showing her the immediate future.
