Ben Kenobi hadn't seen or heard from Hazel for three rotations. Frantic was the understatement of the millennium to the man. Especially after all the searching he did in town, only to find that she was nowhere to be found.
"She should have been back by now." He whispered to himself. Pacing became his normal since the twenty-hour mark of the girl's disappearance.
He knew there was a foreign presence on Tatooine. White-clad soldiers had infested Mos Espa as he finished searching the city the first time. And he worried for his little one's safety. Finally, he could stand his anxiety no longer.
"That's it."
Whether she wanted to see him or not, he would find Hazel and bring her home. With that thought, he rushed his Eopie towards Mos Espa. Again.

"Marcus!"
The man's eyes widened at the disheveled appearance of his favorite customer.
"Ben! How can I help you?"
"My daughter—Hazel—she's missing. I was hoping you had seen her?" Ben gasped out with cautious hope in his tone.
Marcus' eyes turned soft with sadness and sympathy for his friend. "I'm sorry, my friend. I haven't seen her. How long has she been gone?"
Ben swallowed and slumped his shoulders. "I haven't seen her in three rotations." He confessed with sorrow.
"Three?!" Marcus cried, his face going pale. Ben jumped in surprise at his outburst.
"Why? What am I missing Marcus?"
"Ben," the shopkeeper somberly gripped the man's shoulder, "Tatooine is known as a trafficker's playground. There is a high chance that she could have been taken."
Ben's face blanched, and his breathing became heavy.
No...not my little girl.
His thoughts raced at lightspeed. His face contorted as he berated himself. He should have known better. His former padawan was from this planet for the Force's sake! Where had his common sense gone?!
"B-but surely there must be some way to find her!" Ben's eyes burned. His friend noticed his trembling hands as the man hid his face, hiding his tears of frustration.
"We can search the markets." Marcus gripped both of his shoulders, holding him steady. "Ben, we will find her."
Ben flashed him a grateful look before composing himself once more.
"Thank you, Marcus."
The man flashed him a soft smile as he rushed to close his stand. "Of course."

"Second Brother, status report."
The humanoid inquisitor turned his gaze from the bustling Mos Espa cantina to his comm link. He had spent the past few days searching for the disturbance and had found nothing. A fact that grated on his nerves and patience. Not that Inquisitors were known for their patience anyway.
