The rendezvous point was an abandoned moisture farm outside Mos Espa. The twin suns had already started to set when Hazel arrived with Ahsoka and Rex. The weight of what she was about to ask sat heavy in her chest.

When her companions saw her in her beskar'gaam, they reacted accordingly. Blasters and sabers drawn. It took Hazel a minute to talk them down and explain to them that she wasn't a bounty hunter, nor did she trick them, but that the armor was gifted to her by her mentor.

She was lucky that Ahsoka could sense the truth in her words, otherwise, Hazel was pretty sure Rex would have shot her.

The girl chuckled at her thoughts before returning her attention to her surroundings. It wasn't long before a sleek, black-and-blue ship descended through the sky, kicking up a storm of dust as it landed.

The boarding ramp lowered, and Bo-Katan strode down, her helmet clipped at her side, auburn hair whipping in the wind.

Her sharp gaze found Hazel instantly. "I'm impressed. I thought you would have called me sooner."

Hazel managed a small smirk. "Didn't have anything urgent until now."

Bo-Katan stopped in front of her, looking her up and down before nodding. "You look stronger."

Then her attention shifted, and her expression darkened.

"You," she said coolly, staring at Ahsoka.

Ahsoka met her gaze, arms crossed. "Didn't think I'd run into you again."

Bo-Katan tilted her head. "I could say the same."

Rex stepped forward, shaking his head with a smirk. "Now, this takes me back."

Bo-Katan looked him over, eyes flickering to his armor. "You survived."

Rex's expression turned serious. "Barely."

A beat of silence passed, tension laced with history thick in the air. Then Bo-Katan exhaled. "Guess none of us came out of that war clean."

Ahsoka nodded. "No, we didn't."

Something unspoken settled between them—old wounds neither of them wanted to reopen.

Finally, Bo-Katan turned back to Hazel. Her eyes narrowed and arms crossed. "Alright. You said there was danger. What happened?"

Hazel shifted uncomfortably. "I'm being hunted," Hazel said quietly. She exhaled, her voice trembling as she continued. "By Lamor."

Bo-Katan's brow furrowed, and Ahsoka and Rex exchanged a glance. "Who's Lamor?" Bo asked, her voice measured.

Hazel swallowed hard. The truth had to come out. Even if it hurt Hazel's heart to relive it. "Lamor's a criminal and worse, he runs a dark, underground operation—slave trade, black market, all sorts of things. He captured me two years ago, before you found me. And he–he, um..." Hazel's eyes watered as her throat closed.

The panic and distress on her face made the adults' blood boil.

Ahsoka stepped forward, her tone cautious but firm. "Why is he after you now?"

Hazel's heart pounded in her chest as she glanced at Bo-Katan, her face tense. "Because someone was kind enough to trick one of his men into giving me to them. Kelei was her name. She helped me get away from Lamor and his men and reunited me with my dad. If it wasn't for her, I would have been sold to the highest bidder for who knows what."

Hazel sighed as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders. "Recently... I had a vision. The Force showed him to me. It showed me he was still looking for me. He doesn't take too kindly to being swindled out of money or lose ends."
