LUCIAN

The car parked in front of the Sander's house. All the lights were lit up and the head of the house, Jackson, was at the entrance, waiting for us.

The door was wide open and his son William also stepped out as soon as we arrived.

We all got out of the car and I fixed the cufflinks on my shirt before taking a step towards the hosts that now had big smiles on their faces.

Tonight we were visiting them to have a talk of potentially getting Sebastian engaged to Jackson's daughter.

I knew he had a daughter but there was never a chance for me to meet her or see her. I knew Jackson and his son and have meet them couple of times but I was never too interested to know more about this family.

Dad and mom walked in front of us while Sebastian and I followed behind them.

It was evident on Sebastian's face that he didn't want this. And he wasn't even trying to hide it. He didn't exactly voiced that he was not pleased with our parents decision but he knew that even if he gets married he was going to continue with his old life style.

I couldn't stop him neither was my dad able to do so.

Dad said that the girl was young so it was better for Sebastian to marry her. I didn't complain because I didn't really care.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I knew that Sloane wanted Sebastian to marry first just so she can hold her grandchild in her hands. From her son, not me, the little boy she had to take care off when she married my dad.

"Act more serious. And don't embarrass our parents." I said to Sebastian before we reached the entrance and greeted Jackson and William.

He just rolled his eyes and continued to have the bored expression on his face.

He was acting like a spoiled child. Which he actually was.

I shook hands with both the men and then saw the elderly lady, who I assumed was Mrs. Sanders.

The smile she had on stretched over her face, making her look extremely happy to meet us. For them it must have been like winning a lottery because Jackson knew what being associated with my family would bring to them.

"Welcome." She exclaimed and hugged Sloane. The rest of us greeted her as well and then my gaze flew to the girl standing next to her.

It must be their daughter. She looked to be around twenty.

As soon as her eyes flew to me, her cheeks became more crimson than they were before.

Her wavy brown hair was down, falling around her face. Glasses rested on her button nose and were slightly covering her beautiful eyes. Her hands were resting beside her, her palms closed tightly into fists.

She looked nervous.

Her body was wrapped into a tight brown dress that somehow complimented her hair. I extended my hand and so did she. As soon as our palms connected, I introduced myself.

"Lucian."

"Lilith." She spoke quietly and averted her mesmerising eyes down. She was breathtaking.

My jaw clenched and I slid my hands into the pockets of my slacks. I should get my head out of the gutter and stop with my thoughts.

This was the potential wife of my little brother.
