no ones pov:
taylor is peacefully relaxing in her hotel room, taking a break from working on writing new music when she gets a call from tree.

she obviously answers the phone because tree is practically in control of her life. she was a little scared, because if it wasn't urgent or needed to be dealt with right away, tree would usually just send her a short text.

"hey tree, what's up?" taylor says, turning the volume of her show down. "um hey taylor, i've got some bad news." she responds. taylor suddenly felt a tightness in her chest.

"there are planned terrorist attacks in vienna." she breathed. "it's not safe for you or your fans to be there, i'm so sorry tay." she explained. taylor felt a lump forming in the back of her throat, she was trying her best to hold back the tears.

"oh, um. okay, i.." taylor mumbled, at a complete loss of words. "i know taylor, it's hard and im very sorry. people are so cruel."tree responds in a comforting tone of voice.

"are you okay taylor? i'm here if you want to talk about it, and if you don't, that's okay too"'tree reminds her. tree has always been there for taylor, during the worst parts of her life like this, and some of the best moments as well.

"i.. i think i just need some time to just.. think." she mumbles, tears welling in her eyes. "okay, i will let you have some time. but please, don't hesitate to call me." tree hangs up the phone.

taylor felt a huge rush of emotions. she hadn't expected something like to happen. she knew there was obviously some people who obviously weren't fans of her music, and she was completely okay with that. but she never thought it would be this extreme.

she felt like throwing up at the thought of it, being a fan of someone's music shouldn't be life threatening.

she began to spiral, feeling a bad panic attack start to form. "why do people not like me? i try so.. so fucking hard." she murmured to herself. she has always dealt with harsh self-criticism, but it's recently been getting better... until know.

she felt so many things at once, she debated on which to do. usually travis would help her through bad panic attacks or just be there when she needs a shoulder to cry on. but unfortunately travis was at training camp.

she didn't want to be a bother and call him, but he was the only thing she wanted right now. she decided to just call him, even though he probably couldn't call, it was worth a try, she thought.

luckily to her surprise, a couple rings later, travis answered the facetime call. "hey baby, what's up?" he smiled into the phone, and then noticed taylor's state, her eyes puffy from crying and her cheeks red from tears.

"oh babygirl.. what happened? are you okay? do you need something?" he burst into a sudden panic mode. "they.. they canceled the vienna shows.." she mumbled in between sobs.

"what? what happened?" he asked, walking into a more secluded area, so they could have privacy. "there's a.. a terrorist attack." she cried, wiping away some tears.

"oh baby.. baby, that's horrible. people can be so disgusting, i'm sorry love." he frowns. "travis.. im scared.." she murmurs again. "im scared that this could happen again, people hate me so.. they hate me a lot." she sniffled.

"and that's horrible, being a taylor swift fan shouldn't put your life on the line." he said. he felt awful in so many ways, he wanted to be there for taylor, not just a facetime call. he didn't want for her to have dangerous concerts.

"oh my god... and.. and they aren't rescheduling the shows either. travis... i feel like such a failure, these amazing people from vienna won't ever see me preform a show live... oh my fucking god" she began to cry harder. her only goal was to bring happiness to her fans, not a risk of being killed or seriously injured.

"baby.. im sorry. that's really awful." he frowned. "tay, it's not your fault. people are just sometimes really horrible, they shouldn't have done that, yeah? but i promise babygirl, it was not your fault." he insists.

"i.. i guess so." she sniffled. "it's just... hard." she breathed. "sorry for calling travis. i... i don't want to bother you. so.. i'll let you go." she mumbles, hanging up the phone without saying a real goodbye.

travis could tell she was hurt, and he was too. he knew not everyone was a fan of her and that was okay, but it shouldn't have been taken to this extreme.

the rest of the night, taylor spent her time trying to focus on other things. but every single time that thought crossed her mind, she wanted to just curl up and cry forever.
