Maura Isles and Arizona Robbins are both 17 year old girls. Maura just got her drivers license and is out for a drive with Arizona in December. They spot a girl about their age walking on the side of a bridge in a t-shirt and shorts. See what they do and where it goes.

Maura's POV

"I really wish I had some more friends. I love that I can drive now, but I wish there was someone other than Arizona to keep me company. I'm almost 18 years old. I'm emancipated and live on my own."

She drives some more, and when she gets to the BU bridge, her and Arizona see a girl about their age walking on the side of the road in a t-shirt and shorts. They both feel bad for her, so she stops on the side of the road. They get out and cautiously walk up to her.

Maura: "What are you doing out here in the middle of winter? Are you okay?"

Girl:(stops walking and looks up crying) No. My parents kicked me out of my house and said not to come back. I have no clothes or anything. The money I had, went on my car, insurance and gas. I lost my job a few weeks ago because I was late. I've been walking around since. Last time I walked by my house, my dad was selling my car to some woman. I have nothing.

Arizona: What's your name?

Girl: Jane. Jane Rizzoli.

Arizona: My name is Arizona Robbins and this is my friend Maura Isles. How old are you?

Jane: I'm almost 19.

Maura: We're almost 18. We'd be happy to give you a place to stay. I have my own house with a guest room. You could stay there until you get back on your feet.

Jane: I don't want to bother you.

Maura: It's no problem. I want to help you.

Jane: Thank you. You don't have to help me, though.

Arizona: We want to. We know what it's like to be on your own. Come on.

They get Jane in the car and take her to Maura's house.
