At A Cafe
Korsak: Kenny. Vince Korsak.
Kenny: Korsak. Kid, you haven't aged very good.
Korsak: Oh, you look the same. Mind if we join you? This is Detective Isles.
Jane: Hello.
Kenny: Detective, huh? I heard they was putting girls on the job.
Jane: Yeah, they even let us drive our own cars.
Korsak: I'm familiar with the great work you did on the strangler case.
Kenny: The boston strangler, huh? Case ruined my life. Cost me my wife and kid. They threw me out of homicide.
Jane: Detective, what if you were right? What if Albert DeSalvo really wasn't the boston strangler, like you were trying to tell everybody?
Kenny: It doesn't make much difference what I thought.
Jane: But you thought they had the wrong guy.
Kenny: They did. And if he's alive, he's still out there.
Jane: Detective, wait. Look. You were once a good cop. I'm a good cop, even though I'm a girl. I- if you -- if you think of anything, please give us a call.
Kenny: Good to see you, Mac.
At BPD
Frost walks into the morgue.
Frost: Find anything?
Maura: Very sophisticated killer. No forensic evidence so far on either victim.
He gags.
Maura: Sink.
Frost: Korsak's calling me B.B.K. Barf Bag Kid. Crowe's leaving plastic puke everywhere.
Maura: You're not the first detective to be sickened by death. You just have to find your morgue legs.
Frost: I read a study that said people can conquer this kind of thing with repeated exposure. Like when you're afraid of dogs or flying.
Maura: Immersion therapy. Very effective. It worked for me.
Frost: What were you afraid of?
Maura: People. Live ones. She'll never judge me, tease me. And I can help her.
I can speak for the dead. Come here.
Come. Right. Now we're just gonna -- We're gonna open her up. We're gonna take a little look inside. Okay, now breathe deep. Actually, don't inhale.
Just follow my finger.Jane walks in.
Jane: Whoa, look at you.
Frost: Hey, Jane. Um, thank you. Um, I'll be upstairs.
Jane: Well, no, I-I-I don't want to interrupt.
Frost: No, it's okay. I don't want to get in your guys' way.
He walks out. Maura gives Jane a sad look.
Jane: What's wrong?
Maura: I've missed my baby girl.
Maura walks into her office and Jane follows her. Maura sits down at her desk and Jane walks up to her and sits on her lap.
Jane: What do you say we lock the door, close the shades and have a little fun?
Maura: Jane, we can't. We're at work.
Jane rocks back and forth. Maura moans.
Maura: (breathlessly) Jane.
