Saturday-The End of the Week
Everyone's off of work and spending the day at the hospital with Jane. It's 6am and they've been there since 5. Dr.Altman comes in and says that it's there. They get her dressed, and take her to the therapy room. Everyone follows them.
When they get there, they take her to a bench and sit her down. They show them what it looks like and then starts putting everything on Jane. They get the harness and leg braces strapped to her, and then they hook up the computer and rechargeable battery in the backpack up to it. They start it up and ask Jane to push stand on the watch. She does. It stands her up. She then pushes walk, puts pressure on the crutches and leans forward. They start moving and she walks all the way to the other end of the room. She stands up straight and she stops. She swivels a little and then leans forward. She walks back and then stops. She does it a few more times and then rests. Then, she starts again. She does so well, that they try her on stairs.
They have her walk to a portable staircase that they use for therapy. She pushes Ascend on the watch and leans forward. Her legs move one at a time up them. She gets to the top and stops. She rests for a few seconds and pushes ascend again. She leans forward and her legs move one at a time again. She walks down, leans up straight and stops. Since she's gotten the hang of it, they say she can go home.
Everyone's crying. Maura and Arizona walk up, hug her and kiss her.
Arizona&Maura: We love you.
Jane: I love you guys too. That's why I never gave up. It's why I'm going home being able to walk.
Dr.Altman comes back in with discharge papers. She signs them and they grab her stuff from the room. Then, they walk out and go home.
