At the Tobin Bridge
They show up and get out. They see Jane on the other side of the railing just looking down. Everyone stops. Arizona cautiously walks up to her.
Arizona: Jane?
Jane: (crying) Come any closer and I'll jump.
She stops walking.
Arizona: We're sorry, baby. What we did was uncalled for. Why didn't you tell us you were so depressed?
Jane: (crying) I didn't want you to think I was weak. I've had a feeling for awhile, I just didn't want to believe it. I don't want to be a cop if it's going to make you guys worry and punish me every time I get hurt. I'd rather do something I don't want to do, than be a cop and have you worrying about me every day.
Maura: Jane, baby, of course we worry. You have a dangerous job. You could get killed any day. But we wouldn't want you to quit just for us.
Jane: I want to if it makes you feel better. I could have any job I want. I want a job that doesn't worry you, and that I know I'll always come home at the end of the day. That's why I gave Tom my letter of resignation. I probably won't be going back. I don't know what I'll do, but I won't be a detective. I'm done.
Arizona: Can you come back up here, so we can talk face to face, baby?
Jane: Yeah.
She turns to climb back up and slips. She falls. They yell for her.
Maura&Arizona: Jane!!!!!
She falls in the water. They all run down to the dock and look out. After a few minutes, she pops back up. She's screaming.
Jane: Fuck!!! I can't move!
Tom: Hold on Jane help's on its way!
Jane: I'm serious though! I think I broke my back! I can barely feel my legs!
Claire: Can you move your arms?!
Jane holds her arms up and says yes.
Claire: You probably hit the water wrong and now you're partially paralyzed from the waist down!
Tom: The paramedics are here, Jane!
They get her out of the water and onto the stretcher. They put her in the ambulance and Maura and Arizona ride with her. Everyone else follows them.
