At the Dirty Robber

Jane: I don't think anyone will disagree with me-When I say today was a day.

Maura: Amen to that.

Jill: At least there's a shred of silver lining.

Claire: I just spoke to Ed-who had a wonderful time at the reception--Went to bed.

Jane: I know I'm married with kids, but you know what I hate about Heather? Every time I see her or talk to her, she says something that makes me respect her a little bit more. She's right.
I need to forgive him. And it's weird- But tonight I think I finally have.

Cindy: My grandma used to say, "That when one door closes, another always opens."

Jane: Well, then a toast. To Cindy's grandma. She sounds like a smart cookie.

Later

Jane and Maura are walking up the walk to their front door.

Man: Detective Jane Isles?

Jane: Yes.

Man: Agent John Ash, FBI. I've been waiting for ya.

Jane: Do you always make it a point to show up on a girl's front stoop unannounced?

John: Well, I do when it involves the kiss me not killer. We've had some new developments. This, uh, arrived at the agency this morning. It's Cindy Thomas' article from the day the last victim surfaced. We're sure it's him. We think you might be his next victim.
