In the Morgue

Maura: Don't hover. DNA processing takes time.

Jane: Well, we don't have time. Faster, Maura. I need something.

Maura: You're breathing on me.

Janes' phone vibrates.

Jane: I don't believe this.

Maura: If that is a text from a vacation club in Acapulco, don't respond. It might be a scam.

Jane: Does this look like a scam? It's from Casey. He says he's in town and wants to meet us all for drinks tonight at the Dirty Robber.

Susie walks in.

Susie: The comparison test results for the two victims' lipsticks - and the lipstick on that envelope.

Maura: Thank you. Jane, I might have something. Libby McMurphy used the same brand of lipstick as our two victims.

Jane: I think we just tied Artie to all three murders. Come on. I need you.
I think I know who that 20 year old blood belongs to.

At Artie's Place

They're searching for DNA.

Nina: Nothing?

Korsak walks in.

Nina: Did you find Artie McMurphy?

Korsak: No, his Sergeant said he called in sick. No sign of his car or him. Barney Miller could have found something.

Nina's cellphone rings.

Nina: Yeah, Frost? Okay, thanks. Another young woman got on a bus today. She didn't make it home.

Maura: God. What can we do?

Korsak: Artie's been a cop for a long time. He knows we're looking for him. He needs a safe place for his kill.

Nina: Yeah, but we've torn this house apart. Wait a minute. He left his last victim in Egleston Square. His wife's shop was in egleston square.

Korsak: A lot of those old storefronts have been vacant for a long time.

Nina: What better place to make your own doll, right? Come on.

Frost, Korsak and Frankie are walking around the corner.

Man: Will you tell?!

Woman: No, I said I won't.

Man: I'll kill you.

Woman: Please don't!

Man: I swear I will.

Woman: Please don't!

Man: Will you tell?

Nina: It's not Artie. It's Jonathan.

Woman: I won't.

Nina: Jonathan. Jonathan.

Korsak: Put the gun down, Artie.

Nina: Jonathan, let her go.

Artie: Doctors should have listened to me. Giving him day passes, trying to integrate him back into society. That bus pass they gave him got two girls killed! He's a monster.

Jonathan: Mommy, tell! You have to tell!

Artie shoots him.

Nina: No! God!

Artie: I had to stop him. I had to do it.

Frost: Send E.M.S. in here now!

Nina: Hey, Jonathan, just stay with me, okay? What did-what did he do to your mom?

Jonathan: He hurt her.

Nina: Where's your mom now?

Jonathan: He said she went on the bus.

Nina: Is-is that why you've been riding the bus?

Jonathan: I just wanted to find her. And then I did. Why didn't she tell? I just wanted her to tell what he did to her.

Nina: It's over. Jonathan, it's-I'll tell. I'll tell.

She looks at the diorama and sees the fireplace.

Nina: Korsak. The fireplace.

Korsak: Cadaver dog didn't find anything.

Nina: You knew we were coming to search your house. Come on, Artie, we're taking you home. Move.

At Artie's House

Nina: He started a fire.

Korsak: To throw off the dog.

Nina: Do it.

Artie: You can't do that.

They break up the brick and find Jonathan's moms' body.

Nina: You killed his mother in front of him. You turned your son into a monster.

They go home and have Angela watch the kids. Then, they go to the Dirty Robber.

That Night At the Dirty Robber

They walk in and see Casey already sitting in a booth. They walk up.

Jane, Maura & Arizona: Hi.

Casey: Hi.

Jane: Casey, these are my wives Maura and Arizona Isles.

Casey: Nice to meet you.

Maura&Arizona: You too.

Casey: (sniffles) What happened to your legs and back?

Jane inhales deeply. Maura and Arizona rub her arm.

Casey: If it's too painful to talk about, we don't have to.

Jane: It's okay. A few months ago, we all three had a big fight. I had been suffering from depression because of my parents and that over did it. It was so overwhelming that I wanted to kill myself. I wrote them a note and went to the Tobin Bridge. They got there before I jumped. Arizona and Maura tried to talk me down. It worked. When I turned to climb back up, my foot slipped and I fell. When I hit the water, I cracked my back and ended up with a penetrating spinal-cord injury. I'm partially paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of my life.

Casey: I'm so sorry.

Jane: It's okay. How are you?

Casey: I'm now a General in the Army.

Jane: That's wonderful!

Casey: And I'm seeing someone.

Jane: That's even more wonderful! Who is she?!

Casey: Her name is Abbie Schultz.

Jane: Wait is that the girl that was a sophomore when you were a senior and I was a freshman. That Abbie Schultz. The Abbie Schultz that would say that I liked Tom all throughout that year until I punched her in the face and got detention. That Abbie Schultz?

Casey: Yes. She says that she's over that.

Jane: We'll see. I'd like to meet her. It's getting late. We need to head home so I can feed the triplets.

They stand up.

Jane: It was good seeing you again.

Casey: You too. Take care.

Jane: We will.

They hug and then walk out and go home.
