Sanem hung up the phone after promising Yigit that there would be a change when she returned to work. It hurt to hear his disappointment in her, but even more so, she was disappointed in herself. She realized she let her personal life take over her professional life. She wanted to be a writer and she promised Yigit she would be more focused on that in the future.

After the call, Sanem didn't go back inside right away. She took some time to really think about: the next chapter of her life, who she wanted to be, and most importantly what she needed in her life to succeed. As the sun began to set,  Sanem huddled into her jacket, finally feeling that winter chill hit her bones. She held herself tighter, and breathed some warm air into her fingers preparing herself to send a text that would change everything. She realized one thing she needed to change in her life and she needed it settled before she lost her nerve.  Sanem typed the words she was terrified to write and then pressed send.

Even though It was a momentous moment in Sanem's life, she needed another minute or two in the biting winter air to settle her nerves. She smiled with tears in her eyes as she watched the sun set over the trees. Sanem realized this amazing bubble she and Can were in was starting to deteriorate in front of her eyes. She wasn't  afraid of when they eventually needed to leave the bubble, as she had a nervous anticipation for what would come next. Despite her excitement she still felt a melancholy nostalgia of what her life was like before this moment.

Sanem came back into the cottage to see all the dark room tools put away and the lines of photographs out of sight. Can was setting the table for dinner and for a moment her heart ached for where they were 2 hours ago. She felt like their little bubble burst and reality was hunting them down.

"You put everything away," Sanem said with a sadness in her voice.

Can still setting the table responded,  "You were on the phone for so long I figured you would be hungry when it was over so I..." Can looked up to see Sanem with tears in her eyes, "Is everything ok?"

"I'm sorry I ruined our bubble, " Sanem said shrugging with tears in her eyes.

Can came over to comfort Sanem. "Hey," Can rubbing her arms, " you didn't ruin anything."

Sanem wiped a tear away, "It was important, I had to take the call."

"I know," Can said encouragingly.

"I need to go back tomorrow night," Sanem said looking away from Can.

Can understood. He knew they couldn't be there forever- even if he wanted to.

"Ok, so let's make the rest of our time count."

Sanem nodded as she looked around the room already missing their cottage, and their moments together. Can watched Sanem patiently. He wished he could hear her thoughts but he loved that she was a mystery in that way. Can always was surprised by the next fact, observation, or idea Sanem would bring up. He waited eagerly for her next words.
