Parsa wrapped his arms around me, giving my body a little squeeze as he dipped his head, grumbling under his breath, "Ugh, I really hate this trip because I can't do anything with you."
My face flushed, heat creeping up my cheeks as I buried it in his chest, left speechless due to shortness of breath. The sound of his heart racing echoed in my ears, showing a potent mixture of passion and frustration. Understanding now why Parsa felt like a defeat, I gingerly raised my hands to his back, returning the embrace, holding him close in a silent hug. A subtle spark began to stir within my heart, infusing it with a hint of hope.
"Okay, that's enough," Parsa asserted, gripping my shoulders and creating a space between us. "If we continue, I might just strip you right here," he teased, his lips curling into a mischievous grin.
"Pervert," I muttered, averting my eyes bashfully. Yet, deep within, I felt a similar desire. He indeed has a bad influence on me... I'm becoming more and more like him... I instinctively began walking along the shoreline, consumed by various thoughts, while Parsa followed casually beside me.
As he laced his fingers through mine in a gradual motion, I stole a glance at him, my heart accelerating once more. "I want to keep things between us the way they are now," Parsa spoke, his focus still on the scene before us. "So, you don't have to overthink it."
I kept my eyes on him as I inquired, "You really don't want to date me?"
Parsa turned his gaze to me, our fingers still intertwined. "Do you want to date me?" He echoed my question.
"Why do you keep returning my questions with the same ones?" I asked, a hint of annoyance in my voice.
" I don't wanna force my feelings," Parsa replied, giving me a playful tap on the forehead, eliciting a grimace from me.
I redirected my gaze toward the ocean, where the full moon cast its silvery glow upon the darkened sky. "That's not like you at all," I murmured, feeling bewildered.
Parsa inquired sarcastically, a tinge of bitterness in his voice, as he stood before me. "You thought I'd lock you up and keep you all to myself for eternity?"
I stopped walking; my gaze fixed on him. "Kind of," I responded in a soft tone. "You didn't care about this when we started having sex together."
Parsa stared at me momentarily before releasing my hand and letting out a weary exhale, rubbing his face. "That's because..." He trailed off, taking a brief pause before continuing in a deep, serious tone, his gaze fell on the ground. "I was frustrated at that time since I'd found having sex with anyone other than you disgusting, not knowing why-"
Oh... I covered his mouth with both my palms, preventing him from continuing. "I... I g-get it! D-Don't say more!" I stuttered, blushing bashfully as my heart beat rapidly. "You... really... like me..." I muttered, averting my gaze in surprise.
Parsa gently lowered my hands from his mouth and chuckled mischievously. "You're usually a smart boy, but sometimes, I feel like your IQ is the same as these phytoplankton beneath our feet," he teased, his tone laced with gentle mockery.
I directed a glare at him, protesting, "I'm shocked because you always talk about these things so bluntly as if it's not a big deal!"
Parsa shrugged, dismissing the matter with a casual gesture. "Your life can be much easier if you don't make a big deal of it."
"Don't talk like my father again," I replied, jabbing him lightly in the stomach, and then started walking again afterward. "Let's get back; the taxi driver must be waiting for us..."

I perched on a rocky cliff, letting my legs dangle over the edge, admiring the expansive blue ocean as it gleamed beneath the sun's warm embrace, its waves crashing against the rocks below.
