38:prelude

John's pov.

Hero work studies huh.

they're voluntary so I really have no need to participate but I'll likely be pressured into taking one anyway.

I did get a  some internship offers from the sports festival
I wasn't really a popular winner due to my approach.
but this looks more serious than a simple internship meaning the number of places I can go is likely a lot lower.

The big three had left and everyone was exited about participating in a work study.

(Setting change next day)

A trio was walking down the halls of the third year students.

"Hey it was surprising I figured some of them would of been injured but they weren't and worked well together" exclaimed nejire.

"They saw me naked a few times. but it was fun. that boy John though surprised me, I mostly defat people using the element of surprise it's my basic strategy in a nutshell" responded miro in his usual tone walking with confidence

"But that guy was able to predict and figure out my quirk while coming up with a combination of quirks to counter me"

"He definitely has a strong quirk but that mind of his is what really let's him bring  out it's full potential, not to mention he was able to incorporate my quirk into his fighting style" said miro with a hint of admeration.

He out of all people knows the steap learning curve to his quirk

"It may not have been as smooth as me but he made good use of it given the time"

"Fighting him in a group battle was definitely a mistake. but I don't regret it. Just gose to show what I have to work on when I don't have the element of surprise on my side, I bet sir would like to meet him"

John's pov.

We all got to our dorms.
As I heard bakugo shouting at the top of his lungs with a yellow trash bag.

"Hey!! If ya got trash then bring it over here right now!"
Kirishima walked with his bag saying "thanks man"

Tokoyami walked up "I have some too"

Bakugo shouted "hand it over!"

Sero kaminari and mineta all walked up saying "and mine"

A merci could be heard from aoyama.

Ojiro and some of the other guys all gave a bag.

Bakugo fumed in anger "you Damm bastards! it's like you've been hoarding these for weeks!"

Meanwhile on the other side of the common area the girls were sitting on the green sofa talking about Mirio it seemed.

I couldn't help but listen in on their conversation of mirio while I enjoyed bakugo's rage fit
Almost makes me wish I had stockpiled trash to give to him

Miro's ability is definitely a complex one to be sure and I wasn't able to replicate that fast warp he was doing.
Just then a disturbing thought hit my mind
Wait dose that mean he fights villans while naked?

Talk about being feared for all the wrong reasons.

Who walked up to me.
"You were actually able to keep up with him"

I thought about it for a moment before responding "yes i was but it doesn't feel like I actually kept up with him in terms of skills"
