I was at the training facility that cementos had made

I was working on my aura Manipulation
Mainly my aura surge.

I was trying to see if I could make it's activation quicker.
my fights with orca and miro had one thing in common.

when ever I active my surge my other copied abilities temporarily disappear.

This almost cost me because without defenses miro would of taken me down easily.
Luckily I still keep my passive

Another thing is it's not like my aura surge is effective on all quirks. It's mainly good for powers that hold a lot of recoil, using aura surge on ojiro for example wouldn't do much.
Inherently he doesn't have any major drawback to dampen.

Right now I had no powers copied I was just trying to understand the sensation better.

Before training for an ultimate move I never once considered dampening and amplifying at the same time.

But I imagine with enough experimentation I could learn new applications to aura.

Any small sharp edge I get adds up.

Later that day

I walked into the common area fresh from a shower.
most of the class was here.

I heard uraraka congratulating midoriya.
Apparently he was able to ask miro to get him into the the night eye agency.

Kaminari sato and a few others approached hearing the news "I don't know how the rest of us are supposed to compete"

Uraraka looking at the ceiling sulking said "I wish I had a place picked out but the school said gunhead is a no go."

Asui added "I know what you mean"
the place she interned at also did not take her in.

As for me backdraft also wasn't taking in any work studies.

Kirishima leaning on the sofa was also in the same predicament.

Due to the ua restrictions a lot of agencies are ruled out making it hard to get work studies.
From the looks of it it's all about connections.

Bakugo and todoroki would likely have gotten one quickly with their talent but since they failed the exam they had to take that special course.

As I drank my water I tought to myself I wouldn't let it get to me it's not like I know anyone who could recommend me other than aiaizawa but I didn't mind working on improving myself for the time being.

Aiaizawa who had semmenly slipped into the common area without anyone noticing finished ojiro's sentence "the pros will have to take responsibility for whatever happened"

He continued "only pros who are the real deal will take on rookies like you knowing the risks involved"

He then turned his head over to tokoyami "looks like you've got an offer from one of them hawks has invited you to work with him"

After hearing that kaminari and others were congratulating him

Sero added that he was apparently the number 3 hero.
Something I knew little about.
I'm not that interested in these hierarchy type systems because they disgust me but with that being said it's not like I was completely clueless.
these classmates of mines are fanatics to their core for superheroes.

But in Tokoyami's case
Forget connections they went directly to him. I let out a slight grin at the fact he was able to get a work study.

Tokoyami accepted without a second thought.
