33: provisional exam

At an undisclosed location

"So did you find anything?" Asked a white haired man.

"There's no trace of the dead here...."

William not being able to supress himself he shouted
"So he's alive?"

"It's hard to say for now just give me some time to concentrate" snarked the red haired woman in an annoyed tone.

Before William could respond he was dragged away by Cameron.

"Let's go she's the kind of person to work better alone anyway"

After a bit of walking William asked.

"I'm not complaining about you helping me but is there a reason you're going along with this?"

Cameron responded "its because I get it,  The authorities are always on our ass to. but Since you're a cripple your risk is even more dangerous. It's like I told you before i don't hate the weak just pity them"

"Now you tell me why do  you try so hard despite being so weak"

William spoke out in anger "those bastards broke apart my family and you think I'm going to sit back and let everything I love being taken I don't care if it's the last thing I do I'll make them regret everything"

Cameron pov.

I hope the official wellsten report and her ability are enough to unravel this mess.

As for him
He may be nothing in the eyes of society but that will of his is unyielding.
If left unchecked he's going to wind up dead.

The boy of his however has the same eyes as Jane.

Still even without any powers he has left an ever lasting wound on the authorities that's still causing them trouble to this day from the looks of it.
He's the author of unordinary after all.

The man infront of me Is responsible for the vilganlantie uprising it's a miracle he's still alive.

It's probably because of Jane now that I think about it.

"I think I get it now Jane got taken away and you started a vilganlantie uprising over it"

William paused for a moment
"You're wrong. That book was dedicated to my son. After those classes he started to hate his ability and himself. I wanted to tell him that despite what happened he has the power to be good"

"So I did in the best way I knew how. with a story"

"I understand but if it turns out that John is dead promise me you won't do anything stupid"

William looked unsure but before he could form a response my name was shouted.

"Looks like she found something"

"So before we continue I should inform you this situation is strange by all standards"

Cameron responded "I figured as much with all the possibilities given with abilities"

"Starting from scratch there was a struggle between arlo the king and John.  Arlo tried stopping John by putting a barrier to stop him from falling but John broke through regardless"

"He fell but before he hit the ground he was cought in a flash of green light and disappeared"

"The odd part was that the teleportation didn't seem to have any trace amounts of aura it was somthing completely foreign"

William lit up with some hope "so he's alive!"

The crimson haird lady responded "bassed off of this I would agree but we have no way of knowing what happened next"
