I was sent to the bus

Aizawa looked pretty serious about the whole situation.

Midoriya had cought up to me as I was walking.

"What do you think that was about?"
Asked Midoriya.

"I have no clue but whatever it was that person with the transformation ability probably wasn't supposed to be there" I remarked

Midoriya seemed to agree with me but we couldn't really do anything about it it was all in the hands of the adults.

Midoriya pulled out a notebook out nowhere it seemed but I got used to this I'm sure I wasn't the only victim.

"So I always wondered because of your quirk you have to constantly take in new powers you've never seen before how do you do it? Adjusting I mean to foreign powers"

He then scratched his head "you see my quirk still feels foreign to me sometimes with a lack of control"

I turned over and said "You're too humble, to be honest you're already doing what I would've recommended you to do"

I remember Midoriya at the start and how he was basically a glass cannon.

"Earlier in the year you were trying too hard to replicate all might and his brand of fighting, but that's the wrong approach I'm sure because you and him had similar powers you believed you could do it"

"But let me tell you something, you will never be all might"

Izuku paused and just looked at me.

"No one will be better at being all might than all might himself"

"So take that power and make it your own, and don't mean that as a I belive in you kind of cliche."

"I mean take your power and use it In a way that let's you excel in your own way entirely different than the person you are trying to replicate"

"All might's approach of overwhelming forse and speed doesn't suit you"

"How would izuku midoriya use this power if he never had knowledge of all might's existence?"

"Here's what I think. he wouldn't rush in with overwhelming speed and force he would analyze his opponent understand what he's facing and use his awareness and eviorioment to his advantage"

I surged my shoulders "that's what I think. You trying to be exactly like all might is limiting your creativity, and without that creativity you'll never surpass all might in your own way"

I saw that izuku was still listening to me so i continued "Don't get me wrong taking inspiration from the original user is fine, hell I never copied Mina's ability but still took inspiration from her ultimate attack"

Midoriya said "yeah you're right it's kinda sad it took me this long to realize that"

"that's what I ment when I said you're already doing what I would've recommended you to do, you've developed your own signature that relies on footwork and kicks somthing all might never did, "

Midoriya eyes lit up "but still I want to know your approach to adapting new powers it might help Me understand something new to work on"

Thinking that was fine I said "I try to turn the powers I copy into my own. I use it in my own way but to do that I need to watch everything I can. If i can understand how it works I can bend the rules and use it in different ways. I also don't try to copy their fighting styles if it doesn't synergie with my style. For example Kirishima's approach of just tanking attacks until the opponent is worn out don't suit my fighting style"
