After breakfast, Yn was helping Mrs. Jeon with the rest of her packing.

"Yn, come here for a moment," Mrs. Jeon called out. Yn put down the dress she was holding and walked over to her.

"Yes?" she responded. Mrs. Jeon patted the spot beside her, signaling for Yn to sit down. Once she did, Mrs. Jeon continued.

"I know everything is happening so unexpectedly and urgently. If it weren't necessary, we wouldn't be leaving so soon.

I wish I could spend more time with my children, but knowing you're here now gives me peace of mind.

I’m always concerned about Jungkook and his well-being. He can be short-tempered, but he has the kindest heart, especially towards those he loves.

After me, he’ll be your responsibility," Mrs. Jeon continued.

"It’ll take some time to adjust, but trust me, once you start to understand him, you’ll find yourself falling in love with him, too.

Please take good care of him. I'm putting my trust in you, and I know my daughter won't let me down. He won’t disappoint you either.

Be each other’s strength and live a happy life together, okay?"

Yn smiled warmly and nodded. "Don’t worry, I’ll do my best."

Mrs. Jeon pulled Yn into a tight hug. "Thank you," she said softly. They then spent the rest of the time finishing up any remaining tasks.

[Few hours later]
"Mom, Dad! We’re running late—where are you?" Jungkook shouted from downstairs. Soon enough, his parents appeared at the top of the stairs, with Yn following behind.

"Relax, we’re coming," Mrs. Jeon said with a teasing smile. "You’re really eager to get us out of here, aren’t you?"

Jungkook let out a sigh, "It’s not like that, Mom. We’re just short on time, and I’m concerned. Or else, I’d be more than happy if you wanted to stay longer!"

His comment made everyone laugh. Mrs. Jeon walked over and gently took his hand.

"Don’t think you’re off the hook—I’ll be checking in on you, so don’t get too comfortable.

And I shouldn't hear any complaints, alright? Make sure you take good care of her. Understood? Be happy, both of you!"

Jungkook chuckled, "Alright, alright. Got it."

Mrs. Jeon hugged him before turning to Yn, who stood quietly with tears in her eyes. "Come here," she said softly, opening her arms.

Yn approached her, and they embraced.

"I'll miss you," Yn whispered. "You've been like a mother to me since I came here, and I can't thank you enough. You're the best."

Mrs. Jeon chuckled, pulling back to gently wipe away Yn's tears.

"No crying, okay? We’ll visit often, so there’s no need to be sad. And remember, I’m just a call away—reach out anytime you need me."

Yn smiled and nodded. Finally, they bid their farewells and parted ways, as Jungkook's parents left for the airport.

[An hour later]
Yn sat silently in her room, deep in thought. ‘I never imagined someone could be so kind to me that I’d start seeing you in her, Mom.

She was the sweetest person I’ve had in my life since you. It hurts not having you here, and now she’s gone too.

She has so many expectations for me, and I’m not even sure I can live up to any of them,’
