Yn stared at him in bewilderment, then offered a gentle smile. “You don’t have to apologize. You haven’t done anything wrong…”

He returned her smile, though his expression was tinged with guilt. “Whether directly or indirectly, I’ve contributed to your suffering… After all, you were forced to marry me.”

She listened quietly as he continued, his voice more solemn. “I had no idea who I was marrying either.

To be honest, I even tried to stop the wedding because I know how dangerous I am and how dangerous everything connected to me can be.

But in the end, I couldn’t refuse my parents. They’ve endured so much because of me, and I couldn’t let them down again… Neither of us knew what we were getting into, but…”

He fell silent for a moment, and Yn’s gaze remained fixed on him, patiently waiting for him to continue.

“The instant I laid my eyes on you, it felt like destiny. I couldn’t help but question myself—when did I get so fortunate to have you as my partner?

I’ve never believed in love. I’ve met so many people, had countless interactions… but none of them ever stirred anything within me.

And then I saw you, walking down the aisle, standing before me—and for the first time, my world stood still.

In that moment, everything else vanished. It felt as though it was just you and me, alone in the universe.

I thought maybe I was just being sentimental, or that it was all in my head, but with time, I realized the truth…

It’s always been you. You are, and will always be, my one and only—the keeper of my heart.”

Yn’s heart pounded wildly as she listened to his words, her breath becoming shallower with each confession.

It was the first time he had opened up like this, the first time he’d laid his emotions bare.

Hearing him express the depth of his feelings, she found herself completely overwhelmed by the intensity of his words.

“Every step you took towards me made me feel a whirlwind of emotions all at once. My heart was racing so fast that I was stunned by how strongly I was reacting.”

Yn swallowed hard, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red as his words struck her right in the heart, leaving her flustered and breathless.

“When we exchanged our vows, in that very moment, the only thought I had was that you were my responsibility now—and I would protect you, no matter what.

I promised myself that I would be by your side, standing with you for the rest of my life…”

Tears welled up in both their eyes and began streaming down their faces.

Yn struggled to process everything he was saying, the weight of his words making her feel both overwhelmed and strangely touched.

Jungkook glanced at her, gently extending his hand to wipe away her tears, offering her a tender smile.

“Nothing you’ve done has gone unnoticed by me. I’ve been paying close attention, and I knew something was going on.

Even on our wedding day, when I saw your pale face, I couldn’t help but wonder what was troubling you… But I’m not going to blame you for not telling me.”

“It’s not your fault… You must’ve gone through so much, carrying all of this on your own, not being able to share anything with anyone.

How could you possibly trust me when I was just a decision forced into your life?” His voice was soft, laced with regret.
