Rummaging through the cabinets, her gaze flitted restlessly around the room as she sifted through folded clothes and half-forgotten things.

One hand absentmindedly rubbed the back of her neck, sighing in frustration. "Where did I put it..." she murmured under her breath, leaning deeper into the closet.

Crouching down, she pulled open the lower compartments, eyes scanning every corner, until they finally landed on exactly what she'd been searching for.

"There you are," she whispered with a triumphant little smile, gently picking it up.

Before she could stand, Jungkook's voice echoed down the hallway, calling her name.

She gasped softly and hurried to hide the object behind her just as he stepped into the walk-in closet.

"What're you doing in here, love? I've been looking all over for you," he said, eyeing her curiously.

"Just looking for something," she said lightly, her hands tucked neatly behind her.

Jungkook's eyebrow arched.

"You're hiding something," he stated, not even bothering to make it a question.

She shook her head quickly. "Nope. Who said I am?"

He laughed under his breath. "Since when did we start playing hide-and-seek, babe?"

She groaned softly. "Jungkook, come on. I can't show it to you yet. Not right now. Just... cooperate for once."

He lunged forward playfully, trying to snatch whatever she was hiding, but she dodged him with a sharp glare.

"Back off, or you're sleeping on the couch tonight," she warned.

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right. You can't sleep without me. You'll regret that threat before I do, sweetheart."

She exhaled sharply, whirled around, and quickly tucked the object back into the closet, shutting the doors with a firm click.

Then she planted herself in front of them like a guard.

"Alright. Move. We're going," she said, shooing him away.

Jungkook groaned dramatically. "Yn, I'll get a stomachache. You know I'm impatient. I can literally feel the curiosity eating me alive."

She grabbed his hand, ignoring his theatrics, and tugged him out of the closet with her.

"It's fine. I'll get you a pain reliever later. But surprises are meant to stay hidden, so I better not hear another word about it. Understood?"

Jungkook let himself be pulled along, muttering under his breath like a sulky child, but the tiny smile tugging at his lips betrayed him completely as the two of them stepped back into their room.

He tugged her gently toward the bed, settling down first before guiding her onto his chest.

She landed with a soft laugh, his arms circling her the second she was close enough, holding her the way he always did, close; safe, like she belonged there.

"Have you decided on the menu?" he asked, brushing his thumb along her waist. "I'll send the event manager tomorrow.

You can tell him whatever you want. He'll sort out the rest."

Yn nodded, resting her hand on his chest. "Alright. You don't have any preferences? Nothing you want to add?"

Jungkook shook his head with an easy smile. "I'm good with whatever you pick. You've always been the creative one."
