Sitting by the window, she cradled a warm cup of coffee between her palms, its rising steam curling softly into the air.

Outside, the rain poured in silvery sheets, each drop kissing the earth with a quiet rhythm; gentle, melodic, endlessly soothing.

The curtains fluttered with the breeze, their movement slow and graceful, as if the wind itself was humming along to the rain's lullaby.

A tender smile played on her lips as she watched the drenched world beyond.

The trees swayed and shimmered, their leaves gleaming beneath the pale sky, dancing freely under the downpour.

Every droplet that fell seemed to carry a secret, a story the clouds could no longer bear to hold.

Then, the soft click of the doorknob broke through the moment's stillness.

Jungkook stepped inside, closing the door behind him, his hair damp and messy, his shirt clinging slightly to his skin.

He ran a hand through his wet hair, exhaling as the faintest smirk tugged at his lips.

Yn rose instantly, concern flickering in her eyes. "What happened? You're drenched. Did you actually go running in this rain?" she asked, her tone laced with both worry and disbelief.

He chuckled quietly, the sound low and warm. "Didn't plan on it... but life had other ideas," he said, shoulders rising in a small shrug.

She sighed and reached up to brush away the water droplets on his face with her thumb. "Stay here," she murmured.

Turning away for a moment, she pulled a towel from the closet, then stepped back towards him.

Rising on her toes, she began to gently dry his hair, the towel moving in slow, tender motions.

He stood still beneath her touch, the air between them calm and intimate, rain whispering against the windows.

Jungkook smiled softly, his fingers curling around her hand as he brought it to his lips, pressing a tender kiss against her palm.

He lowered himself slightly, looking up at her.

"Better?" he murmured.

She chuckled, nodding, and continued drying his hair with gentle motions, patting his face afterward.

He stood still, watching her; quiet, content, his gaze lingering between her eyes and lips, the corners of his mouth curved into a small, fond smile.

When she finished, she stepped back to set the towel aside, her voice soft.

"I'll go get you some fresh clothes. You'll catch a cold like this."

She turned to leave, but before she could take a step, he caught her wrist, pulling her back to himself.

She gasped softly, eyes meeting his.

A faint smirk played on his lips as he guided her hand to his chest, resting it there.

His fingers brushed against her hair, tucking a strand behind her ear with quiet care.

"I missed you," he whispered, his thumb tracing a light path along her cheek.

She raised an eyebrow, amused. "Missed me? All of a sudden?"

He shook his head with a small smile. "Not sudden at all... I miss my angel all the time.

I always need you. But when it started raining and you love the rain, so I missed you even more."

Her smile softened, warmth flickering in her eyes.
