Chapter 4

[Victoria and her school friends were making a short film from an old project that Beckett had done with the guidance of a famous young producer named Dale Squires. They filmed it at the Gilbert home, but instead of Dale helping them, he just ate their food and kept talking about parties and girls over the phone. Victoria and Beckett directed and produced it together, Andre and Robbie did the soundtrack for it, and Jade, Caterina, and Beckett starred in it alongside many others. The short film was a huge success and Dale took all the credit for it, so the gang decided to take revenge on him by embarrassing him in his next TV interview]

[Sikowitz helped Victoria by calling one of his Hollywood directing friends who was shooting a movie in L.A. Victoria lied about her resume because she took the advice of her friends to spice up her resume. She got cast as a stunt double and now had to face the consequences of her actions. She wanted to get out of it but didn't know how and she was advised to just get it over with or else she would get blacklisted. However, Elena traveled with her and gave her the encouragement she needed to get the job done. Victoria was able to do the stunt perfectly, she got paid a decent amount of money and would get her name in the credits of the movie once it was out]

[There was an ice cream contest going and whoever spelled KE$HA first would win a private performance from her. All of Victoria's and Elena's friends helped out and they ended up winning, so KE$HA went over to the Gilbert home and performed for them]

[Soon enough the holidays arrived and Sikowitz had made his class participate in the Secret Santa activity because no one signed up. Robbie got Caterina, Andre got Beckett, Jade got Victoria, she got Andre, Beckett got Robbie, and Caterina got Jade. Andre caught the cricket in Beckett's RV that was keeping him up for several nights. Robbie got Caterina a cotton candy machine and Beckett got Robbie a date with Robbie's ex-bully, but it did not go well. Caterina got Jade the pair of scissors that were used in Jade's favorite horror movie, The Scissoring, and Jade gave an idea to Victoria for her gift to Andre. Sikowitz called in a favor from his friend, Gustavo Roque, owner of Roque Records, and he traveled to Virginia]

[Gustavo helped them record the music video for their Christmas song, Andre posted it on YouTube, and Gustavo produced Andre's song as a single. After a little over two weeks, the students returned from the holidays on January 7th. Andre and the girls started to get a lot of attention, likes, and subscribers for each of their channels. A school event called the Full Moon Jam was happening at Briarwood Academy and each student from the Singing 101 class had to perform either with a partner or do a solo. Victoria decided to sing a solo, but then she had a date with a senior guy named Ryder Daniels, and she decided to sing a duet with him. Two weeks later, Robbie discovered that Ryder only used smart and talented girls to get good grades and then he would dump them. Robbie then told everyone else and the gang told Victoria. It really hurt her but she immediately got started writing a song called Begging On Your Knees, and Andre helped her by writing the music to it. They worked all night but they got it done]
