Chapter 56

[Bonnie made a deal with Katherine, everyone was getting ready for graduation, and Silas had attacked people from the hospital since he couldn't get his filthy hands on the blood bags. Bonnie linked Katherine to her, and that night, Bonnie started working on bringing down the veil. Sheriff Forbes filled Stefan and Damon in on what was happening and the guys realized that Bonnie was getting ready to drop the veil. Stefan, Damon, Elena, and Caroline went to the center of the triangle, which was at their high school. Elena made Damon tell her where Katherine was, he revealed to her that she was with Bonnie, and then they went searching for the two of them. Damon and Elena told Stefan and Caroline the right way to get to the center of the expression triangle, Damon wouldn't let Elena keep going because he didn't want her messing up anything, but she apologized to him, and staked him in his abdomen. She zoomed away to go after Katherine, Bonnie had channeled the triangle with Quetziah's calcified blood from the rock, and then she dropped the veil]

Alaric: Who staked you anyway?
Damon: My girl, she owes me big time, let's go

[Kol threw a glass bottle at Matt just for fun when he threatened him not to hurt Elena or Victoria. Rebekah kicked him out and started working on helping Matt. Elena went after Katherine but before she could kill her, Stefan stopped her when he saw that Bonnie was in pain. Stefan made Katherine leave, Bonnie unlinked them, and Katherine fled. Rebekah went to the back to get the first aid kit that Matt told her about, and she discovered the real Caroline who had been forced to cut her wrists over and over again. Silas was masquerading as Caroline and was with the others, and then Silas revealed himself to Bonnie after telling her that she might be waiting a long while for Quetziah. Rebekah tried to snap Caroline out of it but nothing was working, and Matt notified Damon about what was going on. Rebekah ended up slapping her really hard making Caroline snap out of it and calling her a bitch, which made Rebekah and Matt sigh in relief. Elena went to the cemetery]
{With Bonnie}
Silas: I'll even let you kill me
Bonnie: Tell me how the cure works, Silas, answer me with the truth, and I'll help you, I swear, what if a vampire were to take the cure?
Silas: That would depend on how old the vampire is. If the vampire is over a hundred years old, and someone sucks it out of them then they would age to their right age and then die. They cannot be healed with vampire blood or be turned ever again. If a vampire has only been a vampire for two or three years, and someone sucks the cure out of them then they would just age normally, but if they get hurt then they cannot be healed with vampire blood either, and would just have to be cured in the normal human way. Now, I don't believe you'll ever help me, so feel the air leaving your lungs
[Bonnie started to feel like the air in her lungs was being taken away, she fell to her knees, and Silas left her there]
{At The Cemetary}
(Jeremy's gravestone said Brother, Boyfriend, and Friend)
Elena: I give up Jer, I really wanted to kill her for you, but... there's no point Stefan's right, it's just a distraction
(She started to cry, she picked up the flowers, twisted them, and threw them making the vase break)
Elena: I-I can't do this, and if that makes me weak then fine, I'm weak
(She felt a hand on her shoulder making her turn around)

Victoria: I knew I'd find you here, let's be weak together
(She knelt by her side)
Elena: I can't handle him being gone, I can't handle feeling like this anymore
(Victoria wrapped her arm around her shoulders and Elena put her head on her shoulder)
Victoria: I miss him too, every day
(She cried as well)

(Elena and Victoria pulled away, stood up quickly, and turned around)
Kol: Pity about your brother, guess it's just me against the two of you now
(Elena put Victoria behind her)
