Balin may have been psyched about going back to his school in the living world, with the assistance of Loona's very own copy of the Grimoire, handed to her by Stolas.
But right now though, back to her apartment, they were changing into their new swimsuits for the pool party with the I.M.P crew.
In the bathroom, as Balin was about to get changed into his swim-shirt, Loona walked in with a bottle of sunscreen. Her swimwear was just a plain two-part bikini. It didn't really cover up most of her... unmentionables, but to her, it seemed better than a bra. At least she had all that soft fur, it was like a dress for dogs.
"Wow Loona. You look very pretty." Balin said kindly. "Oh, meal. So sweet of you." She then knelt down to his level and gave him a hug. She was starting to get used to his warm embraces and kind-hearted compliments.
As Balin stroked her fur in the embrace, he soon felt Loona rubbing his back with a sticky paw. She was applying sunscreen to his body in the hug.
Okay, hold still... just wanna lather some of this onto you." she said in concentration mode.
"Wait... can you get a sunburn in Hell?" Balin widened his eyes realising that. "Oh yeah." replied Loona. Balin then made a mind-blown expression which made Loona laugh as she went back to rubbing her hand along his body.
Looking a little flustered, Balin felt one of them running the sunscreen along his face, which made him melt at her touch. Seeing this, she booped his nose with a little dab, making him laugh.
"Ooh, someone enjoying this?" Loona sang with a smirk. "Yes I am." he replied. "It's like you're my STEP-mommy."
Loona then laughed at that little statement and gave him a kiss on the cheek with her warmer lips. Doing that, she then licked the sunblock off her maw and continued rubbing it along his neck.
"OK then, all done." she smiled patting his back. "You ready for a little skinny-dipping?"
"Mm-hmm." Balin nodded his head once with a lot of excitement, then stopped to think about something. "Loona? Is the pool... made out of blood?" he asked her a little sheepishly.
"What? No, of course not buddy." she replied to him. "What would make you think that?"
"This is Hell, after all." the boy said to her. "Oh, yeah." Loona snapped her fingers having forgot that for a second, then grinned at him. "But I am a demon taking care of you, a sweet little human child. Anything can happen."
"Okay." sighed the kid, as Loona showed her soft smile again. "Don't worry meal, the pool's really nice. Especially this time of year. And you look adorable in that swimsuit."
Balin really felt moved by those words. His swimsuit was Navy blue with a grey stingray covered with yellow spots that looked like shining lights splashing out of the water, while his trunks were just plain black. So he looked at her with a smile ready to go.
But with a smirk, Loona got on all fours and walked in between Balin's legs as they were open. Before he knew it, he was sitting on Loona's back.
"Loona?" Balin was very surprised at what she was doing. "What's this? You want a hellhound back ride?" she teased him. "As you wish."
Loona began crawling around the living room in two circles with Balin on her back like a horse. He giggled almost the whole time, until she walked over to the door to let him open and close it as they left.
"Go ahead kid, grab onto them. Because for Blitzø's sake, we're going hella fast." she smirked.
As Balin gently grabbed onto her breasts, Loona extended her back before sprinting off on all fours, all the way out of the apartment and along the streets to the pool. Balin laughed almost the entire ride, making Loona smile looking up at him. She had never once in her wildest dreams thought of doing this, so this was absolute fun for her as well.
