Back to School

The next morning...

The big day had finally arrived. Balin was finally going back to school.

But to start the big day off, Loona walked into his bedroom to see him sleeping so peacefully, as the sun and the sky in Hell shone bright gold outside the room's window.

"He really is so cute when he's sleeping, isn't he Loona?" she smiled to herself. She saw the kid cuddling up against his teddy bear and stuffed chicken as usual, snuggling closer into them as he dreamt.

Sadly though, Loona knew she couldn't watch him sleep like a little puppy for the entire semester. He had to wake up sometime this morning, and that time was now 6:00am. Last night before bed, he set his clock at this time, telling her he always liked to wake up early in the morning to get a head-start, most likely before any other students arrived.

So gently and with a smile, Loona did the thing he requested. She walked up to him, turned off the alarm clock, and crouched down to him tickling his backside with her claws.

"Balin...? Balin..." she sang. "It's wake up time now." And with that, Balin groggily yawned and opened his tired eyes. His vision was blurry for a few seconds, until he looked to his left to see his hellhound friend smiling at him.

"W'sup, meal? You sleepyhead." she chuckled. "Looks like today's the big day."

Hearing that made Balin feel excited, but he was still tired. Normally, he'd be up and at 'em by the time it was 6 in his old life, but since coming to Hell, staying up on some late nights was new for him.

"You still wanna sleep, don't ya?" she asked with a grin. "Is it okay if I have some... back-to-school cuddles?" he then asked her. Loona then flushed and twirled her hair at the thought, then smiled. "Eh, fine. Maybe a few minutes won't hurt." she replied. "Make some room."

Slowly, Loona lifted the blanket and laid down on one side of his bed. The two then wrapped their arms around each other for their little cuddle session. But little did Balin know, Loona had her usual way of trying to wake him up. So after a couple of minutes of snuggles, she started giving the boy a little lick on each cheek repeatedly, until he woke up giggle by giggle.

"Okay, okay, I'm awake now Loona." The two laughed as he wiped his face.

A few moments later...

Balin soon showered up getting ready for the day, before changing into his school clothes and packing his new backpack full of notebooks and stationary, such as pens/pencils, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, even marker pens.

All the while, Loona was making his packed lunch which included one of his defrosted Vegemite sandwiches from the freezer, along with a pack of crisps, a couple of protein balls, string cheese, and a banana. She then put about 20 dollars into the lunch bag in case he decided to make a lunch order at the tuck shop. 

Soon, she heard a knock at her door and sighed knowing who it was. "Oh shit." she grumbled seeing the I.M.P crew, minus Marijiana and Neptune. "I thought today was gonna be emotional."

"Oh calm the fuck down Loona, there's always tomorrow. And six days in the past." Moxxie shot back at her, making her snarl in anger.

"Don't tell my daughter to calm the fuck down, Moxx!" gasped Blitzø in defence. "Need I remind you I made you employee of the month 2 weeks ago?"

"That was Loona sir. Again." the imp corrected. "And proud of this one." grinned Loona looking away from him.

"Alright you three, knock the language off." Millie interfered calmly. "Now where's the little pre-schooler, Loona?"
