Taylor was thrown off by the anonymous source that had leaked the information. The press always found a way to spin things, but this felt different. Travis wasn't a regular on the New York scene, so it had to be someone close who tipped them off. She trusted him, but the thought gnawed at her... maybe he had mentioned to someone that he was coming to see her or that he had a date planned. However, her "spidey sense," kept bringing her back to Pia. If this relationship was going to continue, Taylor knew she needed to get a read on Pia. She'd have to ask Travis to arrange a meeting, not in a business setting, but something more informal where she could gauge Pia's intentions.

Taylor had wanted to show Travis some of her favorite spots in the city, but they were now on strict orders to stay out of sight. Instead, they spent the morning working out together in her personal gym, a space filled with high-end equipment and motivational with a few humorous quotes on the walls. Afterward, Travis settled into Taylor's office to work on his laptop, while she reviewed new lighting plans for the next leg of her tour. They both noticed how comfortable they were in each other's presence, each focused on their tasks.
As the morning rolled into the late afternoon, Taylor suggested they tackle one of Julia Child's classic dishes. Beef Bourguignon. She pulled out her well-worn hardcover cookbook, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "I've always wanted to cook my way through this entire book," she confessed with a smile, tracing her fingers over the pages. "Kind of like in the movie Julie & Julia. It's been a dream of mine for years, but I've never found the time."
Travis grinned, loving the idea. "So, you're saying we could work our way through all these recipes together? My stomach is down with that"
"Exactly," Taylor said, her enthusiasm contagious. "Beef Bourguignon is one of Julia Child's top ten must-learn recipes, and since we have six hours and nowhere to go, it's the perfect time to start." Taylor mused as she chopped vegetables. Travis couldn't help but admire her determination. "You're really serious about this, huh?"
"Absolutely," she replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I've always wanted to be like Julia and so many other female chefs, fearless in the kitchen, unafraid to make mistakes. Plus, there's something romantic about cooking these classic dishes, especially with someone who's willing to take on the challenge with me."
Travis smiled "well, I'm all in. Let's make Julia proud."
As they worked side by side, the kitchen filled with the rich, savory aromas of the dish coming together. Travis, with his golden retriever-like enthusiasm,
Out of nowhere Travis announces "Hear me out... I think cream cheese and all white sauces are gross. And don't even get me started on mayonnaise."
Taylor laughed, clearly amused. "What do you have against mayonnaise?"
"Have you ever heard the noise it makes when you stir it in the jar or spoon a large amount into a bowl?" Travis asked, proceeding to mimic the sounds he associated with mayo.
Taylor burst into laughter, nearly doubling over. "I'm sorry, you were trying to tell me something important about your tastes, and here I am laughing to the point I might pee my pants," she said, holding his face and kissing him between giggles.
"If it makes you feel any better, chicken fingers are my safe food, I have a fear of sea urchins, and I'm terrified of being framed for a crime I didn't commit," Taylor adds to their growing list of eeks and phobias.
"I remember you talking about that on Ellen," Travis said, his grin just glowing "You were so cute. I wanted to kiss you even then." Both leaning in for another kiss.
